Thumbs up nova scotia

I live in nove scotia as my profile points out and i used to think that it was boring but now that i see pictures of big cities and i realise that it's a beatiful place to live. It's truely beautiful, the trees, the ocean and the mountains. So even though i'd like to be in a big city i think that NS is a beautiful place to live, and also my numbah one choice of a place to live.

BTW have any of you ZUers ever been to Nove Scotia.

Re: nova scotia

I've never been to Nova Scotia myself, but my dad has gone there for a buisness trip. He said it was pretty nice there too. I myself live in Portland, Oregon, where there is pretty nice weather; it's especially beautiful outside in the spring. It's nice and warm, but not too cold as well. It rains a tad too much for me in the spring though; I like to get out and do things with my friends XD

Re: nova scotia

^ i agree...it is on the other side of the continent, but still...

but then again, you'd be surpised at how many Americans have no earthly idea what the Canadian provinces are...

but to answer linkrules...no...never been to Nova Scotia...

i have heard it is beautiful but the furthest I've been up the east coast is Maine...

oh and Maine is one of the 50 states of the United States of America...for those of you who do not know...o_O

He tries really hard.... anyway I myself have never been to Nova Scotia, and probably won't anytime soon. I myself like my city of London, lots of nice parks, plenty of nice people, and we get video games the day they are shipped.

Re: nova scotia

I went to Nova Scotia a few years back. The waves kept me up every night. Wretched things.

Re: nova scotia

Nova Scotia is one of my absolute favourite places to be.

Cape Breton, especially, is an incredibly beautiful place.

The most important, thing, though, is the people. In the Atlantic Provinces (Nfld especially), everyone is so god damn hospitable. It's such a contast to city life, even in a 'friendly' city like Ottawa.

Don't worry: lord-of-shadow is the only person I've met who doesn't like the sound of waves.

Re: nova scotia

Heh... I'm living right next to Nova Scotia (see my profil) and I never had the chance to go there. It must be an awesome place to visit, especially on a summer vacation like you said. I've been to Gaspésie (don't know in English) and I must say that I hated this place... not to visit, but I wouldn't be able to live there, there is nothing to do! All that we saw was (ouuh! same word but reversed!) nightclubs and grocery stores! I hope there is more things to do in NS...

yes people here are rather nice and care-free

Spoiler (Highlight to read):
Nova Scotia is the best place in the world to live and Cape Breton is the best place in Nova Scotia, put two and two together
