I'm pretty sure that nowadays, every single godforsaken ****hole in the Western world has its own Wikipedia article. If it has more than six houses, it probably has an article on the Source of All Knowledge. At eight houses, it's practically inevitable. At ten houses it's almost impossible to conceive it not being on Wikipedia, and I don't think there's any place that has ten houses and a church that isn't on Wikipedia. And that's not even getting into places that also have a school.

Mind you, for your average little ****hole you get a pathetic 3-line articles which opens with "[name] is a city/town/village in [province/district/county], [state/country]", followed by demographical information and information on where it is located in relation to the nearest non-****hole, followed (hopefully) by information on how to get to said non-****hole as fast as possible.

If the place you live actually contains a few pages worth of text on Wikipedia, it's probably somewhat of a major city. Well, either that or a local resident has too much free time on his or her hands.
