It's part of the massive LA-outskirts (Inland Empire).

Well it is the smallest city in the Inland Empire. San Bernardino and Riverside dwarf the city. I dunno, maybe it's because I've never lived in a rural area, but Ontario just seems small to me.

I find it funny. There's probably been a lot of confused and irritated Canadians on Wikipedia.

Here's mine. At about 20,000, my city is actually pretty heavily populated consiering the surrounding cities only have about 5000 at most.

Type in the word Irmo into Wikipedia, and you get a disambiguation page directing you to first the town in South Carolina, second the high school near said town, and third...the god-like character in J.R.R. Tolkien's mythos.

On that note, my high school (Irmo High, where I graduated a decade ago) won the National Academic Championship in 1986 and 2001-2002!
