Congrats Class of 2009!

I'm graduating this Saturday from college, and I just wanted to congratulate everyone who's graduating this year, whether it's from high school, college, trade school, or whatever you're graduating from!

What are your plans for after graduation? If you're not graduating yet, how close are you to it?

I won't graduate from college for a while
I graduated high school in 07

I'm [finally] graduating from High School this year, June 12. Afterwards I plan to enjoy my summer, record some of my music, and relax.

I'm going to Sac City for college, taking a couple classes, get a job, and just take it easy. Hopefully start playing at local shows, and from there we'll see.

Your future:

You studied hard, graduate summa cum laude (or whatever), you get your diploma, start looking for a job and.....you end up as a janitor in the same crappy highschool you used to go to.

Being smart or graduating with high grades doesn't matter. The rest of your life is spent working for your money no matter what kind of work you start doing. Getting a diploma and a high-paying job only means you get more than you need in life. Sometimes you get too much and you become a jerk looking down upon poor people who just didn't get the same opportunities as you.

I'm always so optimistic.

I know, right. I've already been through all my graduations (1999, 2003, 2006).

I'm getting out of 8th grade this year to go face being the lowest on the totem pole in high school. Yay. I'm happy for all the '09s.

I graduated from high school two years ago! (Those two years went by so fast... OMG...)

I'm in college right now, don't really know when I'll graduate, because I did not follow the schedule for music majors that I was supposed to. I only did music classes this last semester (which was great, because it allowed me to finally improve greatly with the bassoon and playing music in general.).. So, yeah... I don't know.

Hah, I can relate. It kind of sucked going from the top of the food chain, right back down to the bottom.

I'm currently a junior in high school, so I'll be graduating in 2010. I have no idea what I'm going to do with my life.

I have a ton of friends who will be graduating this year and, to put it simply, it sucks. While I'm happy for them and wish them only the best, things just aren't going to be the same. For example, about twelve out of barely twenty people in my media productions class are seniors, and many of them have taken the class more than once. So next year we'll have a lot less experience in the room when working on projects or running the announcements, and because we all know each other so well right now, the atmosphere will completely change. I'm sure it won't be all that bad, and I'll adjust, but I'm not exactly looking forward to it.

Yeah, I know how that feels. It took me an extra year to graduate, so a bunch of my friends that I made on my floor my freshman year graduated the year before me. I still talk to them and hang out with them--some came back for grad school, actually, so I still see them around. It's going to be weird graduating while a majority of my friends that I hang out with on a daily basis are still in school.

The 08s at my school were lacking in IQ and common sense. Probably one of the worst classes to grad from my school.

As for my class of 09, we all (minus like 5 people) have the potential to be very successful. We have 4 guys still with a 4.0, and the next 14 are above 3.2 (For those who don't know. I'm talking about G.P.A or Grade Point Average. a 4.0 means that person has all A's). (we have 54 kids in my graduating class)

Matt: 54? Wow. O: I often wonder what it's like to have a small graduating class. We have 'bout 1,400. x: I don't know half the kids graduating, haha. Gunna be a looonnnng ceremony June 8th.

I graduated last year and I finish my college course next year.

Fifty four is only a bit shorter than my graduating class, about seventy, give or take a few. I'm happy to finally be graduating, the faculty really went to hell after the old principal quit and refused to come back (superintendent, I'll say we all hate him), even when basically bribed with a better contract and upped pay.

But yeah, come May 28th, I graduate from my technical school, and come June 12th, I graduate my normal school. Afterwards, I plan on a relaxing week or so, then right to work to save up for college, DeVry.
