I'm wearing jeans and a black dress shirt.

And I'm in school currently, so if what I'm wearing is stupid and dorky, it's too late for me to change clothes.

Is it nerdy to dress like this? My shirt would go well with a funeral suit but my jeans are a light blue.

I just wanted to try something different for once. Should I regret this?

Yes, you should regret it.

For doing such a horrible thing, you should give all your electronics away and swear to never browse the Internet again.

It might be considered nerdy, though I imagine that would look cool(but I'm a nerd, so... yeah).

Wear what you feel like wearing and don't let other people bother you.

Wear whatever makes you feel comftable ^^ I would'nt say what you are wearing is extreme or anything lol. It just sounds kind of casual to me.

And no, don't regret it.

If you're comfortable, I say go with it, and to heck with what anyone says.

For example, I never (well, sometimes) wear shoes.

There's no reason to regret it, though. You can always wear something different tomorrow! Instead of jeans, do some wrinkle-free chinos ... and a collared shirt. Preppy is nice.

Depends what part of the country you are in. If you are in NY like you say you are, then it could be considered "nerdy," but if you are in any of the southern states, it sounds like you just wanted to dress up a bit today.

As long as you are comfortable, I don't think it really matters.

It all depends on if your general 'look' goes with it, so hair, shoes, etc. It can look nerdy, on the other hand it can look differently cool.

Sounds silly, but to some people, it really matters. I never really care what others think of the way I look, but to each their own, I suppose.
