do you believe love at first sight?

i dont know if they made a thread for this yet so, do you believe in love in first sight?
i dont because i just think it is just stupied.
most people at my school say this,(mainly females)
"omg, sara, isnt tyler cute?"
and sara goes,"yea, but i cant go out with him, i am already going with someone else"
and they both sigh.

me personally, i just think it is dumb and i just want to see if you people believe if it
is dumb or true.

I don't believe in love at first site. If I walk by some cute guy and feel all happy because he looks good, say its love at first site, because thats all you get at first site is the looks right? So lets say this guy looks really good but he is a big jerk. Thats why I don't believe in love at first site, it's just not so in my opinion.~

I don't. I can see a cute girl, but I don't feel love that fast.

I'd have to say that it would have to depend on who is involved and the situation.

Love at first sight only exists in the fairytale world that exists in the minds of preteen girls.

During preteen and teenage years (Well, the early through mid teen years, at least), attraction is mostly based on physical attraction anyway. Not "love".

The situation you explained was more along the lines of infatuation which is different from love.

I don't believe in love at first sight. It takes time to forge a relationship with someone. It can't be accomplished simply by gazing at someone.

there is more on to that and if you saw their faces, you would be scared as hell.

I believe in lust at first sight or physical attraction at first sight.Additionally, I think love devlops over time.

Nope. An initial attraction is sometimes present, but love itself can't be developed if nothing is known about the other person, because you can't know everything about a person just by looking at them.

I think the idea of a perfect soul mate and 'one true love' is bullhonkey as well.

over all, so its just lust, and a crush for a time and then a new guy appears and then the cycle starts over again, thats what i am kinda seeing here

This is hard for me to say, there have been three different times where I ran into someone and intently knew we were going to be friends. Two of them I'm really good friends with. but the third one I feel like if I get to know her, we could become great friends.

However I believe love is something that forms and does not come instantly.

I had more of love at second sight. Yeah I liked her because I thought she was hot, but after learning more about her and spending time with her, I realized how much I really love her.

Yes! It didn't happen to me, but it happened for my husband. When he saw me, apparently for him it was love at first site.

I do, since it happened to me.
