Not love, though. No matter how strongly someone might insist otherwise, they did not love that person when they first saw them. They simply loved the way they looked. There's nothing wrong or shallow with that, but don't call it love.

No, love takes time to develop. I do believe in that little "spark" you feel within the first few minutes of meeting someone, but even that is not love.

I used to work with a woman whom it happened to. Her husband was visiting Fiji where she was staying. They saw each other and fell in love. They got married a week later. They're still happily married 10 years later. Didn't happen to me, but sure, I believe.

Of course not. I thought it happened once with a particularly handsome mirror, but I couldn't make it work and was flirting with other mirrors a lot so we split.

No, I don't believe in love at first sight. As many others have said, someone can look totally hawt, but in reality be a big jerk.

I'd rather take plenty of time to get to know someone before I decide I love them. Took three-ish years for my boyfriend (Darius Andreas) and I to say we love each other and I believe we just might be meant for each other. ^^

I had a very strange connection the first time I met my boyfriend. The only reason I back myself up with that is because we've been together for 3 years now.
It was very different with him when we met. In a good/weird way. And I do plan on spending the rest of my life with him.

Love at first sight is an illogical concept. How can you love someone you don't even know?

Lust at first sight, however, is a different story. But love develops over time.

You can feel some sort of "spark" when you meet someone fairly attractive, but I wouldn't neccessarily call it "true love."

There is no love at first sight. To truly love somebody, you've got to share experiences with them first. You need to give love the time to develop. Maybe that's just me, but I've never felt anything more than physical attraction for a girl I haven't known for at least half a year. I can't say I've loved many times, either. I think it was just once. But it certainly took its time to develop. So, no. No love at first sight. Saying there is love at first sight is like saying your best friend became that the first day you met. At least I think it does.
