How much do you judge someone based on their avatar?

I don't judge people based on their avatars. I think that's... weird? I don't see how an avatar reflects somebody's personality enough to allow for judgement.

I don't judge them by their avatar, but I do kind of on what clan they're in.

No joke. XD No matter how silly or goofy or weird their avatar is, I won't judge them by it. That's just...sorta dumb. In fact, I mostly overlook people's avatars since I only care about what their posts say.

I always assume that someone's avatar is what they look like.

i agree with some respects with coss; but i take it one step farther. i always have a little movie playing in my mind of the person in the avatar saying whatever is in their post.

Honestly, I barely take notice of someone's avatar. I tend to look more at sigs and custom titles! Not even sure why, looking and judging by avatar hadn't occurred to me until I read the title of this thread.

If its something off-color, offensive, or disgusting or whatever, I can probably picture us not seeing eye to eye on a lot of things. I just assume avoid that person, but not go out of my way, seeing as how I can't do anything about it.

I'll be nice to them if they talk to me though.

If people go by my avatar, then they must think I'm very depressed.

I always judge people by their avatars, but my avatar is always changing soooooo you cant really judge me.

For people who never change their avatar, I use their avatar to identify them. I change my avatar quite frequently sometimes, because I'm insane/get bored of doing the same thing.

While avatars do play a small part in judging personality, I mostly use it to judge someones likes and dislikes. The same with sig pics. To judge personality, reading thier custom rank or post is more accurate imo.
