Worst thing you've ever done

Pretty obvious, just tell us the worst thing you feel you've ever done in your life.

Mine? A very hateful message over MSN to a previously great friend of mine.

To be honest, the worst thing i have done, in my opinion.. is what i did when i was 6... there was a girl at my school in New Zealand, her name was Helen... she had this panda toy she really liked and would carry it around.. i picked it up and threw it in the forest hill and we never saw it again... she cried and cried.. the worst part was, after, at my birthday... she gave me a cup i still have.. on the cup it has a picture of Pooh and Piglet holding hands and it says "best friends forever".........

i wish i could go back in time and change what i did.......

The worst thing that I've ever done to somebody else was, perhaps, the best thing that I did for myself and another person. I kept a secret. It changed lives.

As Jehanne said, sometimes the things you do to people that you know will hurt them make you feel better temporarily, but it will make you regret it later in time.

When I was younger, I was a bit of a bully to my sisters, and to some of my classmates. I used to take their things and break them or hide them and make them cry.

But I regret doing that since they did nothing to me. It was a stupid, selfish act.

Hurt the most important person in my life.

The worst thing I've done...was doing nothing at all.

There's been hundreds of times where I have the ability to stop something wrong, but I just cant bring myself to stand up and do it.

Oh, I am such a boring person.

Unlike any of you, I had no embarrassing moment to post about in the other thread.
Same here. I've never done anything bad. To anyone. Ever. There are people who say I'm too good at times, but that's just the way I am.

My insecurity.

Probably ****ing up every relationship I've ever been in because I'm incredibly insecure.

The most recent one was the worst though. ;x And I regret it more than anything.

I know it was probably no big deal, I mean, I wasn't also saying anything ugly about the Jews, just scrawling numbers on my wrist...but still...

Oh ****, that's not good. To be honest I wasn't expecting anyone to post stuff like this.

As for me, there are so many things it isn't even funny. Namely to do with my girlfriend, as I expect a lot of the posts in here are about. Although having just a 'girlfriend' makes it unimportant to most people, right? It isn't, though.

i've never really done anything truly bad with any intent. though i do regret the mindset i had back in my late teens. i was way too conceited and self absorbed. i pretty much focused on myself and my hobbies and wasn't really paying attention to those who needed me.

i used to be one of those who would pointlessly argue why "this music is better than that music" and i feel so stupid for having done that.

I know exactly what you mean. Same story in my book, too.

This might surprise some people, but about ten years ago (in my high school days) I did something pretty dirty to a friend of mine.

I have no memory whatsoever of what the initial conflict between us was, but it occurred over email. I was so aggravated with her that I started emailing other friends of mine, ranting about the situation. With my naturally one-sided view of things, they sprang immediately to my defense and denounced the girl with me.

Then I compiled all these responses into a single email and...sent them to her.

She said it literally brought her to tears. Afterward, I apologized profusely for my ***holery, and somehow she forgave me for it.

I've kept up a very long lie.

I was a very good liar and I kinda used that to my advantage... :/

Thank god I stopped

I was the vice president of my drama club in high school. (theatre was a big deal at my school) I had a pretty good reputation for being a big sisterly, kind leader.
I feel pretty bad now because I did talk a lot of trash about some of the younger drama kids behind their backs, especially when they were the "favorites" and got leads over us hard(er)working upperclassman.

I don't wanna say that it was all an act, I genuinely loved my job and loved the people in it. I think I got so worried about becoming the stereotypical "Queen Bee Diva B*tch" that I went and did that behind their backs.

I feel pretty lousy about it now

It's hard to say the absolute worst, so I'll just pick one.

For a few months, a 2 of my friends had been dating eachother. Well, this is totally normal, and everyone enjoyed giving them a hard time. -me especially- My remarks were the most scathing but they were admittedly pretty funny. At one point I was turning everything she said back on her to make her sound like a whore. I even continued this after the two broke up. Then one night she admitted to me that they had had a night of sex and she hated it. Then it hit me: I had been shoving the truth in her face and laughing about it. Man I don't think I'll ever stop feeling guilty for that one.
