Why can't you just count on your fingers or something.

Mathematically and philosophically, numbers don't exist.

Proving that numbers exist using other numbers doesn't help -- and using your fingers can never work. Don't think too hard about it.

I hated proof solving to death when I had geometry. There were at least 10 different ways to solve one.

Just be thankful that you didn't have to solve 2+2.

I remember once, using imaginary numbers, I was able to prove that 1 = 0. teehee

I know, especially if the teacher wanted you to solve it a complicated, drawn-out way when you found a simpler method. If you didn't do it THEIR way, you got the problem wrong, even if you had the right answer.
