Dreams

Last night I had a dream about killing cockroaches... quite traumatizing.

I get dreams sometimes...they are pretty strange.

I had a skateboard once I could control with thought. Which is cool, since I can't stay on a real skateboard for the life of me.

One thing I noticed people say a lot is that confidence has a lot to do with lucid dreaming. If you tell yourself that it'll be hard and doubt it'll happen, it's supposed to be harder to try to do.

I usually remember the dreams I had that include people I know in my life. For example, I've had reocuring dreams that involve me and my mother running from the Nazi's. These are the dreams that I usually remember.

For a few years in a row I had a dream on the night before my birthday that I was in a house full of vampires bent on killing me... Why?

I, too, frequently have dreams with people I know in them. However, just as frequently, I'll also have dreams that might just include completely made-up people, and I actually think that this can be extremely interesting. Some of the time, it'll also feel like I know the people, but after I wake up I know that they were made-up.

As I mentioned, a lot of the time I'll have cartoon characters be in my dreams, and many times I'll not even be in the dream at all.

...Your guess is as good as mine. Do you literally mean on the same day each year? That's freaky.

Sometimes I have a dream were it seems like I have a certain task to complete, and if I don't then I wake up and try to go back to sleep and contine the same dream. Maybe these dreams are a result from playing too many video games, not quite sure.

I've had dreams like this long before I started playing video games.

I would click on "I used to" but thats not an option.
I don't remember my dreams anymore. I only did when I was younger.

Aw...that kinda sucks! Well, it would if it happened to me. It's a little bit...um...disappointing when I wake up and I don't remember any of my dreams that I had the previous night. I don't know why, but I just loooove dreams. Yeah yeah, some of them are a bit creepy/nonsensical, but most of the time they're pretty interesting.

I have always had lucid dreams, in fact I remember ones I had when I was like 3 years old.
I just had 2 last night....one of them involved me exploring a dark temple full of mummies : /

But yah, I'm pretty used to such vivid dreams. I highly enjoy them because of how real they look and feel. Sometimes while I'm dreaming I even think, "Wow I can't believe this is a dream, it looks too real!"

Hmm... I can only remember one or two from when I was younger-- most of them have been within the last two years or so. I think by reading about the topic more it might help to start bringing the recall back.

Sometimes they're the most interesting when they're nonsensical. ....But not all the time, heh.

Yeah, even though I only remember one (really, really brief) lucid dream, I was surprised at how much more vivid it felt compared to normal ones.

I just remembered another dream I had last night, where I just got a pet baby snake(it was sooo cute!). I remember that I was thinking, "too bad I'm not going to have it when I wake up...", but for some reason I was never lucid.

I often have many dreams featuring places i visit often. They seem so so real that i actually believe i am awake and living normally complete with self movements (i.e. i am controlling myself, all movements, vocals etc) until my alarm goes off and i wake. Then somehow i recall it all within a few minutes

But i still remember the dream and parts of it come to life as it were in de-ja-vu moments where i remember where i was and what i was doing in a dream at the precise moment when i am doing the said actions in realality.

I think I might have had a lucid dream before but I don't clearly remember. Most of my dreams are unconscious in the state of REM. Oh, also, I go to sleep in a certain position at night and then I wake up in a different (but similar) position. For example, I'll be laying upward and then in the morning I'll be on my stomach. Why do I move if I don't have conscious control of my body?

^ I move in my sleep and I don't have conscious control over my body when I'm asleep. I've gotten up while asleep and gone downstairs and talked to my parents in my sleep, and when I actually woke up I didn't remember a thing.

Wow, could your parents tell that you were asleep, or did you actually seem awake?
