Re: What Is Your Dream Car?

I really really want a 2000 Nissan Skyline R-34 in a pearl white. With Konig Twilite rims that are gold with a black stripe and way too many mods to mention.

There are two timelines(Child timeline and adult timeline) and one extra parallel world(as we see in LA(Koholint),MM(Termina) and PH(Oshus world). It's possible to get (e.g.) from the Child Timeline to Adult timeline by passing another portal that leads to whatever(LoZ for example).

I would like a Dodge Viper or a Lamborghini.

Red's alright, but too common in those cars. A forest green would be nicer.

I was thinking a Lamborghini Murcielago, or a Gallardo. One of those, and I'd be the happiest girl in the world.

The awesome thing about the Twin Mill pictured is that it is a fully operational race car, not just some prop. Two GM 502 big blocks lined in parallel, cranking out 1,400 horsepower. The only thing that sucks about it is it isn't street legal. Like that would stop me.

If I wanted street legal, however, a Lingenfelter Corvette is really the only way to go. Best engine pack runs about $90,000 (adding in the $75,000 for the car itself) and boosts horsepower to 1,000 @ 900 lbs ft of torque out of a 427 CID Twin Turbo.

Costs less than a Lambo and moves faster to boot. Best price point for any supercar on the market.

Why not just get a 66 Cobra with the 472? Although it's an excellent choice.

That disturbs the **** out of me. How the hell do dual-engined cars like that, and Volkswagen W12s and W8s ACTUALLY ****ING WORK? Is there a separate drive shaft for each engine, and they add power to one wheel each? Or is somehow a single transmission and driveshaft strapped between the two cranks? That just befuddles the balls offa me.

Definitely.

As for me, I'd love to death the 66 Cobra with the 427 above. Weighs less than a ton, has a great weight-horsepower ratio, very close to 1:1 when you compare it to muscle cars. It's the best goddamned muscle car there ever was or ever will be, and was certainly the most ahead of its time.

If you're more into modern ****, then I'd go for a 2008 BMW M3 convertible. Fantastic piece of engineering, and has an absolutely GREAT price tag for the performance. No **** on it at all, just an engine, doubleclutch transmission, and the usual stuff. Not twin turbocharged or supercharged or charged any other way. Just a great suspension, great four liter engine with a very high redline, hard top convertible, and a lot of special controls and tweaks inside. It's got paddle shifters, a manual transmission, but can go automatic with five different settings. Also has throttle sensitivity controls, chassis rigidity, and electronic damper control, and traction control. Great stuff the Germans are tweaking with.

I'm sure I've said this before, and I assume the thread's buried enough.

I'd have to go with the Porsche Carrera GT. I really like the way it looks all over.

I believe the Twin Mill hooks both engines up to a common drive shaft. This seems counter-intuitive to me, since it can cause a lot of power loss, but that vehicle is still obscene. I haven't seen the schematic for the drive shaft, (at one point I think it was floating around the internet, but haven't been able to find it), but from hearing about it from people I know who taken a peek at it, I guess the damn think reads like Chinese.

From what I can gather, a lot of dual-engine cars actually tend to specialize both engines for the front and rear shafts respectively, which is pretty smart when you think about it. This Tiburon, for example.

As for myself, personally, I've always had a soft spot for the '67-'69 T-Birds. May not have been as light or as nimble as the Cobra, but you can get even the 429 Thunder-Jet for dirt cheap nowadays. They were formidable cars, to say the least.

Never been a huge fan of German vehicles, but I will admit that they make fantastic vehicles. The BMW 135i Twin Turbo is in fact quite superior to the Porsche Cayman, and cheaper, according to Fifth Gear. And yes, the M3 is all different kinds of awesome.
