I had a fish today that said made in Vietnam...

As the title suggests, I opened a package of frozen fish today that had a little note on it which said: made in Vietnam.

Now I'm glad that they are so forward on where the fish is coming from but this is one occasion where I wouldn't have mind to be kept in the dark. Especially as it says made in Vietnam and not caught in Vietnam...

So have you ever gotten any food or other products where you regretted finding out where they are from / where made?

I bought a Hottopic "Hero of Hyrule" T-Shirt in Miami only to find out it was made in Honduras. XD

I only eat made in Canada food.

I tried buying a few souvenirs whilst in Libya from the official souvenir shop to give to a few english friends of mine (and American! And New-Zealandish! :>! ) , and I found that mOST items were made in tunisia, and ADvertised tunisia, bu had a wee line through "tunisia" and a badly scrawled "Libya" on them instead ;-; (unlike Hele, I didn't actually buy them! =D )

But really, it's embarrassing for a country to try selling off anOTher country's souvenirs as its own >_> <_<

I got some article of clothing that said "Made in Kenya". Distraught and enrage by that, I made a dummy of a darkface with the clothing and strung it high in a tree.

by specifying the age, race, and gender ofthe person, you are aying that those characteristics mean something. that have any more merrit to them than say, a young, black, male with no kids who's a racist... oh wait, you'd be describing Sno_Storm,which is not MORE racist thanyour example, it is JUST as racists, but in a different way.
