Sooooo, What's your favorite board game?

Mancala.

With out a doubt, Chess. Monopoly takes to long and every other game Im just terrible at so I think Ill stick with Chess.

Monopoly and Scrabble.

Seriously, what is up with you people and Scrabble, I dont get the point. You can say the same about Chess, but at least that can get intense if you play an equal. At our school we play chess all the time and call us dweebs but that s what we spend most of our time talking about.

"I had a sick Chess game last night with my Uncle, one by a hair."

" Man, that scrabble game yesterday was intense."

I guess its just too mellow for me.

I'll admit chess is fun, but it's fairly routine to me now. I either play against people who I can beat quite easily, or people who thrash me.

I don't like to play it too much anymore against people I beat, not because it's easy, but because if I do something stupid and mess up, and they win, I'll feel like a complete and utter turd.

well I've played some great scrabble games that were very close. any game can be intense and fun when you're playing an equal opponent

My sister had some Power Puff girls one that I loved. I am 82% sure we played wrong though....We threw the dice through MoJo's lookout to hit the girls.....It was fun...

Risk. (Bam soup)
Civilization (The Board Game)
Monopoly (Really only like the Star Wars Version)

Stratego. It's a military strategy game, but it doesn't take 5 hours to finish.

Naw, I'm kiddin', though that does bring back a few memories. The thought of my little cousin eating some of the pieces comes to mind..

Anyway, Life was always a good one. Though when I was younger I'd try and cheat by slightly bending the corners of the Doctor profession and the highest salary.. so evil. xP

Sorry! was a another good one.. and Risk.. and Scrabble.. and oh! I love playing Pictionary. It's really only because I get to draw, but meh, it's fun when you get a big group. My mother and I always go to our cousin's house on Christmas Eve and Pictionary seems to be the tradition the past few years with boys vs. girls. So far the boys haven't beaten us yet. ;D

And it's really more of a card game, but Apples to Apples isn't too bad, though my friends like to use Helen Keller for everything. :P

I don't really have any. I don't even really play hem but if I remember back a couple years, Sorry! was definitely one of my favourites.

Ooooo. Does Risk count? That's probably my favorite game because you get to take over the world! I usually go for Africa first since it's in the middle and it gives a good amount of bonus troops. I once beat my older brother who's supposed to be a pro!

Seriously, Risk is the best board game ever.

I would just like to reiterate my love for chess . . .

Amazing game. Nothing compares.

It's too bad it is plagued (given past experiences, perhaps justifiably) by its "nerdy" stigma.

Not many people know how to play and those who do tend to be incredible. I wish there was a more moderate following.

Haha, same here. Other than chess, I don't think I play too many board games. They all kind of bore me...I guess I just don't have the patience for those kinds of things.
