Umm... Happy Thanksgiving?

I'm surprised to see that no one made an unofficial official Thanksgiving thread.

BUT, probably there is this topic already on some other sort of thread/sub-thread/topic/post/sticky/hoodlum/bonbabbit/hobbit/secret hidden place that I can't find in this forum.

If not, then yay! How was your Thanksgiving?

I ate food.

EDIT: Damn, it's been hours, and still no reply? Either 1: You're all busy with Thanksgiving. Or 2: You're all not too big on the general chit-chat materials.

Well, we don't celebrate Thanksgiving here, but my Brandon does and he told me about the history of the holiday, as well as the traditional stuff you guys usually do. Lotsa food apparently. Yum.

I ate food too. It was good.

Yup, I bet every American ate food.

I did. I was at my grandma's house and I made a movie on my mom's camera. :]

I didn't go to any family's house. Brian and I stayed home and cooked Pho instead of the traditional turkey and stuff.

Pho was a success YUM!

Yep, I ate a LOT. Especially big on dessert. Also, I still need to make some maple custard. x3

I ate myself sick. Seriously, I was full all day.

Argh, I hate it when I'm not notified of new replies, even though I subscribed to this.

Anyway, that's cool, everyone. Food.

I had a great feast with my extended family. Then me, my brother, and my cousins played Bomberman for the Sega Genesis all day.

So I worked because unlike most of ZU I have payments to make which far exceed anyone else's on this goddamn website.

Oh, I have payments to make too.... And alot of other people do too.

Thanksgiving is a United States Federal Holiday, so most people in the US do have the day off....

But I had to work the day after Thanksgiving. Does that count? ;D

As far as my Thanksgiving was concerned, it was very nice. Went over to visit my boyfriends family first and had dinner. It was soooo wonderful too! All the traditional foods were served... turkey, stuffing, ect. It was a really nice time. It also helped that when we go there, the food was READY! *laughs* In years past, we would have to wait around for 2 hours for everything to be finished. :3

Then we went over to my parents house. We had dinner there too, and alot of Pumpkin Pie! Mmmmm. We then watched the Cowboys/Seahawks game.

It was just a very nice day, and I'm glad to see others had a great day as well. :3

I only thanked a certain person for my anti-depressants.

Else, I didn't celebrate as I'm from Sweden.

I didn't celebrate Thanksgiving because i'm not an American citizen. Wish i was though, all that great food and stuff to be thankful for. Still, Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

I'm American, but I don't celebrate the, "holiday", either. I mean, after all, it IS called, "Happy Eating A Lot Of Food And Murdering Native Americans Day".

But yeah, I don't, "celebrate", it, 'nor do I ponder back at what I'm thankful for, for I do that frequently without, "Thanksgiving".

I still eat food, though.

Yea except I'm an Air Traffic Controller so forget federal holidays. I also highly doubt the rent checks you make are much in amount when compared to a mortgage.

Thanksgiving is a great time tohang out with friends and family as well as eat alot of pie, all day long.

Thanksgiving isn't really the most exciting holiday. Anyways, I went to my Aunt's house. It was crowded. Ten people and three dogs in a house that usually only has two people and two dogs. Really not enough space. But it was fun, and the food was good. And, for the first time in years, we didn't go shopping at 5 in the morning on Black Friday.

I ate helium and cake and threw out the turkey.
