World's Biggest Crystals!

Good Lord, look at the size of these things!



This is all in a cave underneath Mexico-the whole cavern is extremely delicate, so very few people are allowed to enter.

I wonder how much money you could get selling just one of those things...it friggin' looks like the fortress of solitude or something...

Reminds me of Donkey Kong Country. Makes me think of the music too and now I want to play it!

Damn! I only thought crystals of that size only existed in fantasy. But now, they actually do exist so deep in the earth's crust.

I don't know if they are worth a fortune. Maybe in their immense size, but once they are broken up, you can pretty much sell them for cheap money at the markets or something, depending on what type of crystal they are of course.

Heh, I know! Our world really is more fantastic then we give it credit for...

Also, I think I heard somewhere that the material these crystals are made of isn't actually that valuable...Gypsum, or something like that, I can't remember...

It's fake. All of it. It's a setup for a new movie coming out.

Nah. Cave explorers don't have to wear much, depending on how deep the cave is underground.

You can walk into one like going shopping if it is that close to the surface.

And I think that this would have made the News or something, or is there an article about this anywhere? If there is none of these, chances are that that is fake.

I found out about this place from an article in the most recent issue of National Geographic. It's real, folks.

Like i said, National Geographic. It's in the latest issue, November 2008. Page 64. it has a large fold-out of the first image I posted.

You guys could just do a few quick google search before claiming its photoshop.

But still, you would think something like that would exist in fiction.
