What's your favorite color?

Don't have one, I have three. :3

Orange, brown (not brown brown, a bit lighter than regular brown) and dark blue.

Orange because it's the colour of my favourite fruit, which is what made me like it first when I was little, brown I just do, and dark blue because it's the colour of a clear night sky.

I'm elaborating a bit much on something simple like choosing a favourite colour, aren't I?

Just a wee announcement: I want to see some effort being put into the posts in this thread. Don't just mention what your favourite colour is (or your "favorite color", for all ye American heretics), but elaborate. What do you like about the colour you picked, is there any specific shade you're particularly fond of, stuff like that.


To show you people the way:


I've always been very fond of green, especially the bright green of grass or the leaves of deciduous trees in sunlight. I'm also rather fond of emerald green, and love green eyes.

I'm also a major fan of blue, especially sky blue. The sky can be a beautiful thing. I'm rather fond of ocean blue as well.

There's quite a few other colours I'm rather fond of, but listing them all would take an eternity, so I won't.



Oh, and don't worry, folks, I'm not expecting all of you to write quite as much as I just did. Just don't put "I like [colour]." :3

Yellow. ^_^ Because its happy, sunshiny, makes you smile, its just a pleasant happy color. ^_^

I heard colour psychology was, by and large, a load of horse hooey.

My favorite color is definitely red, as signified by my browser theme.

That's a drastic understatement.

It evolved from Purple to Red to Black to Blue to Green.

Green being my favorite now. 8D

Colors still have symbolism because they were given symbolism.

CP is more about symbolism than anything else.

I can never decide on my favorite color. I really like certain shades of blue, especially cobalt and cerulean, because they're calming and, well, pretty. But then I start craving the warmer, happier colors, like orange and red and pink. I like green because it's sort of different and is bright and cheerful and earthy. But right now I guess my favorite is still blue. For now. It'll probably change next week.

Royal purple and blood red are close seconds, considering me actually descending from nobility and both just being awesome colors.

considering you brought it up in your previous post and bring it up in lines two and three here, I'd venture that it's not irrelevant whatsoever. :3
