I was told by the hairdresser that the style would only work if my hair was straight (I was told this pre-cut), but totally ignored this and chose to get my hair cut anyway,( foolishly) thinking all the curlyness and frizz would be cut out, and I also (foolishly) thought I'd be able to blowdry it myself and keep it straight with the crap hairdryer in my cupboard. I was wrong.
