Re: Theology

As you can see, these are the types of threads people with post-counts under 50 make.

I smell a new rule on the horizon.

A rule like that, I wouldn't mind. Expect in small cases like the "New Member" board.

Come on, we're not all like that, and you know it. :-p

You've got 182 posts.

That wouldn't really work. Seeing as there is a certain dumbass whom I really despise who's threads are incredibly dumb and stupid yet his post count surpasses 50.

Re: Theology

I have 182 posts because my part-time job hasn't started yet. Check out my join date.

And you've got a great point. Having a zillion posts doesn't make your threads into precious gems. Of course, I'd like to find a way to turn threads into precious gems ...

No, but think. Do you know why there isn't a single idiot on this site with a post-count over 300? It's because it takes dedication. Dedication to stay, dedication to follow the rules. If you need 50 posts to make a thread, most of the idiots' dedication to the site runs out by then.

That's not true. There are a lot of idiots on this site with post counts well above 300.

Re: Theology

Maybe saying "not a single" was a bit of an exaggeration, but there are lot less idiots at 300, than say... 27?

Re: Theology

There are a lot of idiots with post counts over 1,000 and even 2,000. It just means that they have a lot of time on their hands, not that they're dedicated.

Re: Theology

What about mew72x, Ranil, Zien, and everyone in the "Let's Tapdance To A Million!" thread?

Re: Theology

I haven't seen a single one.

And, mew/Ranil/Zien, along with another lot of people I don't want to mention, are just a bunch of people with severely conflicting opinions on matters that really aren't that important. I'm sure that they could be a value to the community if they try.

Hard.

Re: Theology

I've seen people that have some problems, but none that were borderline unhelpful, spamming, idiots.

Yeah, this'd be way overdue for the lock.
