Happy Independence Day!!

So, it's the 4th of July already, and I want to know how my fellow ZUers celebrate it. Usually we get lots of fireworks, and let them off in the night. But this year we didn't get that much fireworks, just a few, and we're going to light them tomorrow, because my sister is at work.

Yeah, normally go all out, but not this year I'm afraid.

My family is boring, so we grill, then sit around and do nothing.

I haven't seen fireworks in years, aside from the random ones my friends and I set off during the off-season.

Well, years ago, we'd celebrate with a huge party. All our friends and families, tons of food for everyone, swimming and games, tv, and then, once it gets dark, lots of fireworks. Good fireworks too. Our neighbors had made it tradition to sit outside and watch our fireworks.

My neighborhood always holds a local party that is normally loads of fun, although this year no one I know very well is going, so I predict it's going to be a little awkward and less fun than normal.

The day I get to blow stuff up, whee! I drove out to the boonies and bought a bunch of them.. somewhere around 100 pieces since I have a rocket assortment. xD;;

Eh, we all have gotten lazy, so we just go to news and watch Fireworks, while eating McD's.

Hey, makes sense. America is quite lazy. That is why you see hardly anyone at the Fireworks set off place.

Celebrating our Independence by blowing the crap out of things.... Awsome. The one day of the year where people of all ages gather around and mess around with explosivess until our hearts content.

Sorry, I have been wanting to say that all day.

Well we used to go out and buy fireworks a few days or so before the 4th. Sometimes we would do a few before the 4th. We would also go down to the river where the city would give a Fireworks show. But as we got older we stopped going.

We also used to go to my aunts house in the country on the 6th,(my cousins birthday) and at night we would light fireworks.

This year?

My sister is going down to the river with her friends. My mom has to work tonight and as for myself.

Playing video/computer games and talking to you fine people

Well so far today my friends and I had band practice. And the ****ing cord from my amp shocked the **** out of me. My hand still feels funny.

Later I shall have barbeque and blow **** up.

I celebrated July 4th by going to the annual picnic, it was more like a barbeque, with burgers, cotton candy, ice cream, drinks, hotdogs, and a pool and a basketball court and a tennis court and a mini-golf court, etc.
It was awesome.
