I need help! i need money to get computer retailing for 1200 bucks!

And well the problem is I don't have 1200 dollars and I am not 16 yet neither 15 so I basically can't work on a "formal" work, and I was wondering if you could suggest me what kind of job could I do.

And well yeah I tried to think myself but it hasn't work, look at these examples

Law mowning- I lived in an apartment.

Selling my stuff- It doesn't even reach to a 100.

Making other kid's homework- I am sure they won't even pay me.

Working in the family restaurant for misery of $4/hour- I am not sure somebody in my family owns a restaurant.

You can always bully kids into giving you their lunch money

Actually, i agree with Ked, you should more than likely give it up.

what kind of computer is it?? You can build desktops for super cheap.

Hmm, if your 14 your legally allowed to work in Canada but i dont know about there. You should just get a low level job like a dishwasher and they usually get a lot of shifts (used to be one) and then if you work really hard you can get promoted no matter your age.

It's a computer that I want to use to ran City of Heroes, I don't know maybe a 1.8 ghz and 512 ram and a decent video card.

I have an idea:

Bake a pan of brownies or cookies or some other kind of baked oods, and then go around door to door and look all puppy-eyed and ask people if they want to buy a cookie for some obnoxtious price like 1.00 and then see how much you get. This way you only need to sell 1200 cookies! which would mean that you would have to bake about 100 pans of cookies or whatever....

I say go with Kedsy's first idea. Thats how I got a 150$ mini-ramp. Be creative, tidy up yard, gutter cleaning.

Or do stuff like mow other people's lawns.

I think disney hires people for part time jobs when they're 15, as do many restaurants and stores everywhere. (Or is it 16? I honestly don't remember...)

i say frodo's idea only works when you're as ickle as he is...

:::shrugs::: save up a lot, or try and rationally talk to your parents and get them to pitch in a part of it... say that the computer will last FAR longer than any one you'd get from Dell or some crappy place, and that if they pitch in the price of a dell or something, you'd raise the rest... it'd show you're industrious AND intelligent! ^_^ parents like that... ^^

I'd do what kedisar said, if that doesnt work knock up some little kids for money, that always works for me.
