Zelda vs. Star wars (The battle of ALL battles)

If these two worlds were to clash into an epic showdown, which would win? Would it be magical world of Zelda, or the technologically advanced world of Star Wars?

Consider EVERY character from both worlds getting along, like Link and Ganondorf and everyone else in the Zelda universe fighting side by side to fight the Star Wars world. Same thing goes for Star Wars.

Explain your opinions, don't just give one-liners.

I'm bored, and I thought this would be a very fun topic. I often think about what would happen if this were to happen. I have a crazy mind.

Star Wars world definitely. WAY too overpowered to challenge the Zelda world.

The amount of ignorance that went into making this thread may just be enough to get John McCain elected.

Seriously, how is this even a question? Hyrule is an isolated, medieval country; the Republic/Empire is a galaxy-scale political body with a membership of literally millions of star systems and some of the most obscenely overpowered technology in all of science-fiction. This does not take a rocket scientist to figure out.

What... the... hell? And I thought Link vs Master Chief was a stupid thread.

As for myself.... You know, it would be far closer than most of you would think. Ganondorf is a freakishly powerful being, probably millions of times stronger than the emperor. I think it would be a close fight. Remember Din, Farore, and Nayru. The three of them combined could probably take out fleets of star destroyers with their magic.

Basically, it comes down to magic vs. millions of soldiers with cool toys.

Um... okay then.

Just, the star wars universe has a huge advantage. Lots more people... don't forget all the clones and other species... guns... stuff like that.

As much as I love Zelda, I'm afraid it's hard to counter the following points:

The Force > Triforce
Interstellar galactic weaponry/ships > any item in Link's otherwise impressive arsenal

Star Wars wins, hands down.

Nope. It's a three godesses, a wizard or two, some princesses with some minor magic and some monsters versus many wizards with weapons hundred times more powerful than the other wizards, the force (the triforce is just the power of the godesses, can't list it twice) and millions of soliders with very advanced weaponary.

You see,

Are you aware of every being in the Star Wars Universe?
I'll just give some examples:
Darth Nilius was able to suck the life out of a whole planet only by muttering words.
Darth Sion was able to rise from every defeat, even from death itself, by calling upon his pain and rage.
The Rakatan's, a force sensitive species, made the Star Forge, a battle station which were powered by the dark side of the force, and were probably much more powerful than the Death Star.
And this is only from the early times of the Galaxy.

Why hasn't there been a Zelda vs. Chuck Norris thread yet?
And why wasn't this put in the General Zelda section with the rest of the crap VS. threads?

Ehem, I mean, come on people. Where is your Zelda pride?

Sure the Star Wars universe has lasers, and lightsabers, and OP long distance choke holds, and death stars, and star destroyers, and X-wings, and millions of fodderoids, stormtroopers and Ewoks, and the Sarlac Pit, and Harrison Ford in his prime - but all of that pales in comparison to what Zelda has.

What does Zelda have again?

Star Wars is awesome, but only for parts of its Expanded Universe. Nearly everything about it is completely stupid... but the concept of Star Wars, the idea, still gets it enough points to beat Zelda. Sorry.
