Fortune Cookies.... -__-

Well, I just had Chinese take-out! I had some sort of chicken, pretty sure is was cat though, jk. And well anyway I was eating and stuff and then I got my fortune cookie. "Oooohhhh, a fortune cookie" I squealed. So I came back to me room eat it and and see what my fortune said. Though, I knew it would be some bull**** "You have lucky day". And when I read it, the stupid thing said "You have executive ability." Now what the hell is that supposed to mean!? I'm 14 years old. I don't care about executive ability. I remember the good ol' days when they actually told fortunes instead of some bull**** statements.

I think all fortune cookies are missing one key word. "will"

Anyway, most of the ones i get don't have my lucky numbers (11,45) Only one i have had has actually been true.

I know, FC fortunes have gone down a lot. Like now they tell you what kind of person you are. "You are a kind and loving person" 'WTF, I know what I am tell me the future you damned cookie!'

LMAO it's so true! I haven't had a fortune cookie in a while - but I think what they are trying to do is get you to interpret them. Obviously it can't predict the future, so it's gonna be a little vauge.

I've also noticed they don't tell fortunes anymore. It's not much of a fortune cookie as it is a cookie that tries to guess stuff about you and tell you what you are. I never see the "You will..." anymore, only the "You are...".

How is that a fortune?

i remember my first fortune cookie, it aws actually my fortune. now they suck. as you said they say stupid **** about who you are and stuff. i miss those old FCs. now i eat the cookies for the taste and not the taste AND the fortune. i gave up readin them

Remember the simpsons episode were Homer is trying to aviod doing anything with Mindy. The fortune cookies were in two barrels "You will find happiness with a true love," and "stick with your wife," If this is anywhere close to a good representation I don't think they are all that serious. They are supposed to be vague so they don't get your hopes up. But if some one is inspired to do something because of it all the better.

I love fortune cookies. *sigh*

I used to eat at this one place before I moved that gave out fortune cookies.

Lol, that was an awesome episode! Anyone else seen the one where starts to write actual fortunes for fortune cookies. I think he should write them!

Yes, that's one of the few Simpson's episode i have actually saw. IMO, i think they stopped making new fortunes, they just use the same ones over and over and over, so it really wouldn't be a surprise if i found the same one twice. Maybe a ZU'er should write fortunes.......

Yeah, the only good thing about fortune cookies now-a-days are the cookie. Very yummy.

There was this one show that I saw, forget what it was, but this one guy kept on getting this one fortune in like 500 cookies that was "Bad luck and extreme misfortune will infest your pathetic soul for all eternity." Now I want a fortune like that.

Fortune cookies suck. They taste alright, but there predictions aren't even predictions. They are never right, when they do have a paper that has a prediction.

Same goes for horoscopes. They only seem to be buisness now.

Meh... fortune cookies today suck. Thay always tell you "You will find true love." Or mine do that. I mean hell of course I'ma get a girlfriend one day! If I don't... then that shows just what a loner I am... which I'm not.

And then some more stupid places give you ones that say things like "You are very outspoken and have a good mean to do some ***** with your life." And I'm just like, "OK! I'ma skip the fortune and move on to those umm... lucky numbers here...." Because that's not even a fortune, I know what I am now.

And the really retarted restaurants screw up the fortune AND the cookie. You heard me right folks, there are places that will give you a BAD COOKIE. I wonder... is that even legal?!? A bad tasting cookie with an unsatisfying fortune.

I had one that said "you will be someone someday." that one just made me laugh.

It all makes sense if you add this prase at the end of the "fortune":

"... in bed"

I had one recently that said "You will meet many new friends...... IN BED."

Heh.... I'll add that onto one.... next time i get a fortune cookie.

"You will have a joyus and prosperous life.... in bed."

"Your friends are all wonderful people and are outgoing and loving..... in bed."

"You will read this fortune..... in bed."
