Angry Video Game Nerd - Youtube account suspended.

First, Armake21, and now, Angry Video Game Nerd. Armake21, was great. Why is YouTube doing this to themselves? They're basically ****ting on their own reputation.

At least there's GameTrailers.

I've never seen the irate gamer. he lives not too far from me in the sandusky area. He had an article in the local paper a couple weeks ago.

well, I never go to you tube for AVGN movies anyway. I just go to his home page and view them from there... most of them go to gametrailers automatically, so It won't really bother me, but definately there are many people who watch his videos on youtube.

any reason why it's suspended?

Hmm, it's a pity for that situation to happen, I hope he gets unbanned.

I've never watched the guys videos, but I'm willing to bet that he was using copyrighted material in his videos. The holders of the copyright then send a nice letter to YouTube or whatever parent company owns it (Google? I think) saying they will sue their pants off if the content isn't removed. Hence, accounts get deleted. YouTube also seems to be rather quick to give in, not even bothering to defend those videos that use copyrighted material as parody, and are hence protected (it's how Weird Al makes all his songs)

Happened to ThatGuyWithTheGlasses more times than I can count, but now he has his own webspace and can host his own videos, so at least that's not a problem anymore.

Of course, it is also possible that this Angry person got three complaints against him, and I believe YouTube has a three strikes and you're out policy.

Isn't he the guy who rates/reviews video games? Think I have seen some of his videos before.

Maybe some game geeks crusaded against him for vulgarity to youtube because he made fun of some of their favourite games like Castlevania II or Double Dragon 3.

I was furious there. I made comments over all this, and apperantly, James knows. Dunno why yet, but all we know is that Youtube is being overrun by Satan's Monkeys on pot. First Naztradamix, the FYWB, then Armake21, now THE AVGN?

I don't really like AVGN, but I was a pretty big fan of Armake21. The Widget and Treasure Master reviews made my life complete.

Anyone know if there is anywhere else you can find this guy, or did he only upload onto the Jewtubes?

I don't know all the technical stuff but I know this for sure, that when I want to see a AVGN video, I can play it om WMP, Flash and Quicktime, and sometimes on youtube. And youtube is the only one that works 100%, the other things don't.

And the fact that there's both the option of youtube and flash player means they're in some way different. Whatever that is doesn't matter. I'm just stating fact.
