Lovelorn

I was just wondering (if this is posted) if there is any advice to guys who are in love with a girl at school, but don't really know them all that well. She looks at me with seemingly genuine interest but she's fairly popular and i'm not, so i think it would embarrass her in front of her friends. should i come out and tell her (or let her come to me) or should i just forget it? Any advice would be appreciated.

I don't have a girlfriend or anything, but I think that you should tell her how you feel about her, and get to know her better. You don't have to follow my advice, but that's what I think.

ive been in a similar situtation... and so has my friend. the one thing you do not want to do is write her a note with "circle yes or no" on it. (stupid Matt!) i dint do it, im smart enough not to make that much of a fool out of myself. another thing you dont want to do is not tell her. find an opportunity ans seize it! you need to tell her how you feel. its better to try and risk rejection then passin it up and never knowin what could have happened

yes you should know her well before doing anything. it may be not the kind of girl you like (i don't wish you so). and if you know her well, do the first steps. in general (IN GENERAL!) girls are shyer than boys. so you could wait and wait an wait, not knowing if she loves you or not.

If you don't get to know her, don't ask her! I've made that mistake several times when i see a girl keep looking at me that i don't know, and neither time has it lead to a good result. If you do get to know her, make sure it is a really good relationship, and then go for it.

Ha, I like this guy and I thought he liked me back. I always saw him looking at me and we were both the same kinda person and stuff. I asked him out and, lets just say I'm still flyin' solo.

The only advice i can i give you is to go and talk to her and get to know her better; and then you will be able to decide for yourself if you can or not.

make sure you know somebody before you express anything but friendship for them.....that way, if it works, makes the whole relationship better, i can assure you...

Ah, the wonder of e-mail. Just get her email addy for some reason (or someHOW) and make things simple for both of you.

Terribly unromantic, but also less embarrassing for both of you. If she says "no way" then you just shrug and smile the next time you see her. That'll settle it.

heh. i wish I had known that big bro. geez that woulda been much easier... im still shyin away from this one girl. as everyone has said, find out about her and once you know enough and still like her, email her. and if a close friend of hers who is friends with you tells you she likes you, plan out this big ol romantic deal to ask her out. its highly unlikely you are both friends with someone, but if you have a friend who is friends with a friend of her then thatll work too. wow that was confusing.

I don't have any boyfriends. Probably because I am not really attractive. But in the early days of 4th grade I ahd this boy I liked. Boy you wouldn't believe the craziest thing I did for my love. I did one of those Secret Lover things. Boy was he surprised.
He never did find out it was me who made the mail. O_o.

Could any of you possibly give me any tips on how to start a conversation with her, and where possibly? I was thinking (in my original 'plan') to ask her out and 'walk and talk' and then see if we 'connect'. But I just can't bring myself to ask her. When she walks by, I just feel like I'm on air. Sometimes I'm fairly confident when talking to some girls, but sometimes I just can't get the right words out. I think I'm too shy with girls. I can look at her (not perverted looking) but I can't go over and talk to her, let alone ask her out. Hm...

say "Hey, you wanna grab a burger?"

I don't know a squat about love or girls or whatever, but what I think is that the main thing to do first is to get to know her, be friends or something like that. That makes it way easier. That's how it starts, actually.

Well, if you're going to say something like that, first...is she the type of girl who WANTS to be "walked home"? That sounds kinda...bleh, to me. "Can I walk with you on our way home?" Now that sounds better.
