Maybe not as funny as pro wrestling, but a lot more realistic.

What made you impartial today?

Life. There are things that make you smile. Things that make you frown.

But...

There are also things in which you neither smile nor frown. A neutral feeling if you will. It didn't really affect your emotions. The best word to describe being impartial towards something might be:

"Meh."

So, has there been anything that made you feel "meh" today?

When I wake up in the mornings, I'm usually in an impartial mood since, well, I had just woken up. When I get moving around and take a shower soon, I'll start feeling better.

Specifically, my day has started out "meh," but today's the day I end my Stargate SG-1 marathon that I started a couple months ago. I have two discs left, and then Ark of Truth to watch. I also might start an Indiana Jones marathon today or tomorrow. This is certainly to brighten up my day. ^_^

Re: What made you impartial today?

Ooh. Another emotion (or the opposite - apathy?) thread. How scrumptious.

What made me feel 'meh'? The day in general. Nothing really happened. If I had to be more specific, my English class. We just sat there reading a mediocre book. It was meh.

What book was it?

I find most of the time when you have to read a certain book in class under a deadline, you'll generally have a "meh" attitude towards it. If you were to try reading it on your own time instead of having it forced on you...then who knows?

Alone on a Wide, Wide Sea by Michael Morpurgo. It's better than his usual stuff xD.

I find that having any book forced upon you generally leads to a lot of mediocrity. The only true way to enjoy a book is by yourself; if someone happens to be reading (or has read) the same book, then you can discuss and comprehend until you drop dead -__-

Still impartial!

Re: What made you impartial today?

I wonder if this is a good way to avoid feeling "meh" towards assigned books:

Find out if that's the book you'll read that year, then read it ahead of time. During class, you might have fun acting like a know-it-all during the discussions.

Re: What made you impartial today?

The three above replies gave me an impartial feeling today.

Re: What made you impartial today?

Let's see, sunny weather makes me smile, rainy weather makes me frown, so when you consider that it was raining while the sun was shining, I was impartial.

1 + -1 = 0, you know?

Re: What made you impartial today?

A 'Dagwood Dog' I ate today. It was awesome 'cause it was a Dagwood Dog. But not so good 'cause it was lukewarm. So it resulted in a 'meh' from me.

Re: What made you impartial today?

This thread is the first thing of the day. Everything else so far has made me feel terrible. 102.9 fever last night, being woken up at 9:30, then at 10, then at 4:30, and again at 8:00, and once more around 11:00. So I've honestly felt terrible about everything going on this morning. Except for this thread. Which honestly makes me wonder why I bothered answering. Bleh...

Re: What made you impartial today?

Well, it's Friday, but (for once) I have a full weekend ahead of me, even though I prefer to keep my weekends open so I can stay home and be lazy. (What can I say? I'm an introvert.) But most of the things I'll be doing this weekend are pretty fun. So I'll deal. I'm effectively...impartial to it.

Let's see: Tonight, I'm going to see Prince Caspian with a friend, on Saturday I'm finishing up what's left of my rewrites for the main site, and on Sunday I promised a friend of mine I'd spend all day with her. We'll probably spend it on Brawl and Mario Kart Wii.

Oh, what a difficult life I lead.
