I've never broken anything in my life, actually. The closest I came was almost being decapitated on a barbed wire fence.

I shattered my elbow coming off a motorbike before.

It hurt a lot. It still hurts now, just not all the time.

I've broken a few. The worst was during Operation Mad Dragon (**** yeah ROTC). We were repelling down a wall and something caused my watcher to drop me. Since we were doing it old school (that being without harnesses or whatnot), I plummeted to the ground. When I hit, I heard something crack, went numb for a second, then was hit by a truckload of pain. As it turns out, I broke my shin and shattered my knee. Needless to say, I didn't get to endure Operation Mad Dragon.

I broke my left arm as a toddler years and years ago, fractured it after being tipped off a chair by my older brother. I thought I actually broke one of my fingers two weeks ago after getting it caught in a sliding patio door. It hurt like mad for two days, as if it had been burned and was being chilled with cold water (except there was no water, but still weirdly felt like it), and even today typing with it, I can't feel much in it anymore, despite it working just fine.

While millions of still-born fetuses hit the ground with a thud, and millions more are ravaged by disease, it is some relief to know that his face will appear in home-made pies with alarming regularity.

Lets see mine are all sports related: I broke two ribs in gymnastics-plus bruised, twisted, and sprained a whole lot of other stuff, fractured a bone in my wrist in cheerleading while falling of the top of the pyramid.

Haha, yeup. Dirtbike accident. I was in Australia on a student trip, and ended up on a cattle farm for three days. Those of us on the farm were given the oppurtunity to herd cattle with the actual farmers. Of course, they use dirtbikes to do that. I ended up lapsing in concentration, and instead of watching where I was going, I was watching a giant cow running alongside of me, to make sure I didnt get stampeeded. I hit a barbed wire fence going about 40Ks. Not too pretty. Still have quite a few scars from it.

Butttt, no broken bones, just a few nice cuts and burns. >>

Well, I've never broken a bone, but I've broken my thumbs bone, and a bone in my "under arm".

I've never had a broken bone before.

Although, I did fake it to get out of work/school on numerous occasions.

I broke an arm and part of my front tooth in a bike rise... It was almost a tie, (I was losing a bit) and he slowed down and pushed me off my bike!

Surprisingly, I've only broken my wrist in two places, my ankle, and a couple toes here and there from various things. But I have however strained muscles more than anyone I really know. I'm at a rate of two strains somewhere a week. Not at all good, but can't be helped xD

Oh, forgot to say I did break a bone, in my wrist.
I was going down a cobblestone pathway on my bike, and after the pathway you can either turn left or right, both 90 degrees. I turned too hard, my bike's tires moved sideways, and I didn't have enough time to put both of my hands out, so I fell with all of the force on my left wrist.

oooh, that sounds horrible! Hearing your story reminds me of one of my older friends from a couple years ago who rode horses. She fell off backwards from the horse and her arms locked as she held them out to catch herself, and her bone came out of the skin. Poor thing needed something like 20 stitches an a bit of surgery to fix it.

Ouch!
(Speaking of stitches, I have a friend who plays soccer. He bent down to kick the ball(don't know why) and got kicked in the mouth by somone else. He needed 40 stitches: 20 inside his mouth, 20 on his cheek.)
(Now that I've seen it, it reminds me of the end of Pan's Labyrinth.)

Edit: And yes, my accident was horrible. It swelled up more than half an inch!

I broke both the Tibia and Fibula in my right leg when I was in second grade. I was playing tag with a friend of mine, and since it was time to go back inside, the line we had to wait in was base. I was almost there. Running full speed, I didn't lift my foot high enough up to get onto the concrete walkway... and I tripped.

I knew for sure that I had broken my leg, but the teachers on duty didn't believe me, so I had to hobble to class. I told my teacher I needed to go the nurse through all my tears because I KNEW that I broke my leg. So, I sat in a rolly-chair and rolled up the incline to the nurse's office where I sat for forty minutes until my leg had swollen up immensely and was black and blue along my lower leg. FINALLY someone believed that I could have actually broken something.

The waiting was a pain. I waited a total of at least two hours, if not three, for my results. The lady who gave me the x-ray was rough with my leg; it hurt SO bad. D:

/end story
