The Internet is (almost) full of Porn?

Has anyone noticed that the internet is ALMOST nothing but a pile of porn? I would like people's experiences since here is mine.

It seems even websites that have NOTHING to do with porn or sex have almost totally naked ladies and I don't go to those sites anymore. Like Goldeneyeforever has a naked lady if you click on one of the topics.

Most sites seem to have their ads shuffled where sometimes you get an almost nude lady and next time you will get something about electornics then the next maybe about gardening tips then the naked lady will come back. (in random order) Doesn't that just drive you Deku nuts? I wish for Justics (I see new emoticons finally)


Then sometimes the ads will totally take over your screen which I think should be illegal. Ads are generally to get your attention not to take over your browser/PC Whether you admit it or not ads these days are going more then their original purpose. and no one will make me change my mind as I don't lie about what I see.

I just now am forced to stick to simple sites like pacman. or educational which is healthy at least.

Porn pop-ups should be outlawed. you never know who will see those.
porn is SO easy to find on the net if you want to, that there is no reason to pop it up in peoples' faces.

Really? I dont see much porn unless I actually search for it, and even then it's hard to...okay never mind.

Anyway, I dont get pop ups or anything like that. I'm careful about the sites I visit

Porn, popping up all over the place. I never had that trouble. Anyhow I suggest these things.

1. Your computer might have a virus. If you are getting full blown Porn on every page you visit, thats what you have.

2.Sex sells - and thats the sad truth.

There seems (fom my own experience anyway) to be an entire internet pornogrpahy empire sustained only by people misspelling popular websites.

Seriously if you accidently "goolge.com" it's probably a porn site. "myspcae.com", "wikipeda.com" There are LOADS of porno websites like that, and it's so annoying if your just tryin to go on wiki/myspace/google

I'd just like to point out.

A) the internet doesn't exactly have a space limit so "full" doesn't exist in terms of the internet
B) 9/10 you'll only get things like this if you searching for it or related content (ie illegal downloading sites)

Its not a case of they're forcing it onto you, just that your on the wrong sites.

Do you know what, the only websites I've ever seen porn on without directly searching for it, are sites with illegal activities on them, e.g. ROM sites.

Tip of the day: Avoid illegal websites, and typing porn related terms into google, and magically, you'll avoid the porn.

I agree with htis, it would be most unpleasant to suddenly have a porn popup while someone you care about is around...>_< OUCH!

However, I have nothing against porn on it's own as it seems to have a somewhat...therapeutic effect. I'm pretty sure that if we hadn't porn there'd be a lot more harassments, rapings and what not.

nothing, but it's annoying when you're not looking for it, and have it pushed in your face against your will, ei: typo in a url, pop-ups, lenient/bad moderating of some sites.

In real life or on the internet, I have never accidentally seen a vagina. It's not exactly something you stumble upon while looking for treasure. All porn I've been exposed to on the internet could have easily been avoided.

Yah I mean. . . . .many people say porn can be found very easily, even when you're not looking for it. But I've never found it unintentionally.

So, does that mean I'm not normal or something? Or do the sites I go to just happen to all be safe?

Also, like the others have said, unless you are totally looking for it, or on illegal sites, chances are you will not (and should not) run into it.

Porn is also so easy to find on the net even when ou're NOT looking for it. I don't know how many times I've googled completely innocent things on Google Image search and had vag or boobs or whatever all up in my grill.

I'm not going to go all "grr grr porn is evil grr grr thou hast sinned" but it gets a little irritating looking for a recipe for cookies and finding nothing but skanky image sites telling me "the top 11 ways to do it best in your kitchen" (number #7- in the sink, water running)

I saw porn just earlier today on Facebook (of all places), on a pic that someone posted on a friend's Super Wall. And the friend who posted it was supposedly one of those evangelical goody-goody Christian types, so that was very surprising.

I too have also found porn (quite recently) while doing innocuous Google Image searches as well.

It's a problem.

This sounds similar to something that happened to my dad some time ago. He was doing a Google search on Girl Scouts (it was years ago, when my sister and I wanted to go into it) and porn popped up. I've also done several searches (I can't remember them now) that has had some porn as a result. You can do a search on just about anything and porn's bound to pop up at least once.

It's a serious problem. What if a 10 year-old does a Google search on something and sees that stuff?

I dont have this problem unless I am searching for the stuff... in which case I dont mind at all. I mostly just ignore any adds on a website. So maybe thats why i dont notice it as much.

Also I never have porn pop-ups unless I am in an actual porn site lol


Also this is not a problem, there are programs parents can get that block this kind of crap out. A very terrible commerical comes to mind where a teenage boy is trying to do homework on the reproductive system. Damn thats just a terrible commerical, it sounds way to fake and I hate when commercials sound fake.

I would be damn impressed if you could "accidentally" see a vagina in real life, its not like you see naked women running around in the streets.
