Meh. Like others have been saying. I've only come across it on illegal websites, or during the times my computer had a virus. As long as you go to the right sites, you should be able to avoid it.

Like Poe Black said, sex sells; simply because, whether they enjoy porn or not it is something that almost everyone enjoys.

I rarely come across porn when I'm not searching for it; I don't have any filters or Google Image safe search or anything like that. The only time I ever see adverts for porn is on sites that contain illegal material, or sites that children probably wouldn't be on.
I think people should stop complaining, there was an equally as pointless thread as this recently, I really don't see what the big deal is.
I agree it is annoying when adverts pop up, but whether it's porn or not doesn't make any difference. It's annoying and an invasion of privacy whatever it is that comes up.

Rule 34 states that there is porn of anything, no exceptions. Delivering into this, random Google searches of anything will pop up some pornographic results, thus proving that Rule 34 is absolute and that Rule 34 also explains why there is so much porn on the Internet.

Just popping in here to say that I've obliterated all the off-topic stuff and drama. This thread is about pr0nz on the intarweb. Try to stick to that topic.

Also, because it was mentioned: there are a lot of criteria I use to decide wether I delete something or not. Wether the user likes porn or not, however, is not part of said criteria.

I think porn is easy enough to avoid. Use an internet filter, use search filters, run Firefox, have a decent firewall/anti virus system, and don't search for things that are likely to bring up porn. Going on sites with illegal or otherwise nefarious content is also pretty likely to bring up porn, so stay away from those.
I really don't think there's much to complain about, there's much worse things out there on t'internet than porn.

You should be pretty good online these days. There's firefox for helping to block naughty pop-ups and the like, and chances are, if you don't search for porn, it's unlikely you'll see any unless you click a trick link or a link that redirects you to a 'bad site'. Also, a big thank you, not interested so **** off to overly-religious people that think seeing porn = direct ticket to hell. Get off my internet if porn bothers you that much.

In all the time I've spent searching for obscure and random things on line, I can only recall one time where my naive index finger brought up porn once. Actually, that was quite recently, and it wasn't REALLY porn per say, it was just a text pop-up telling me that I was being re-directed to Russian housewives or something similar. Maybe pop-up is the wrong word, because that would imply that they could be closed...

I suppose if you have to tell your parents the same stories over and over again, then you eventually begin to believe them.
