Who Talks on the Phone with ZU Friends?

Until recently, I've never talked with anyone on ZU through phone calls. But, last weekend I started calling 2 of my friends here, and I was amazed at how much of a different experience it is. I mean, those 2 friends are pretty much the same on the phone, but I've learned more about them than I could online. It's only served to deepen our connection.

So, does anyone else here call people? (besides those who know each other in real life, since that doesnt really count)


*As a side note, the 1st quote in my sig came a phone conversation with one of those 2 people I talk to. I wouldn't have it without them. That's just one of the joys of phone conversations*

I don't have any ZU friends so no. But if i did i would talk to them on a online phone, the phone bill would be huge.

On the phone, I've talked to Jodd, Mr Spork and Hylian Z (I think?). And Bex and Shika, but they were friends from school first so that doesn't count. It's fun, but I don't talk to long. Phone bills are a *****.

I've talked with a few on Skype.


I have Shik's phone number, never actually needed to use it though.

If we're gonna talk Skype, I've spoken to a lot of ZUers over that - good times <3. But a phoooone - I've spoken to Michael/Tiroth and Asia *nod nod*.

I occasionally Skype, when Lunk is persistent enough. <_<

I've spoken to Todd, I think that's it. There are others who I would love to talk to.

DK, you can call Australian Landlines from as little as 0.5p per minute and mobiles from 5p per minute . PM me if you want the access numbers =)

I've talked to Fox McCloud and Yami on the phone.

Everyone at the last meetup talked to Yami on my phone.

Also I've talked to Samus on a phone.

I have talked to Yami, Dom, and some other people on vent before, though my voice has altered since then. On the phone, I've talked to Link, Yami phoned me at 3am while drunk one morning, and... that's it. Yay.

I think I've talked to people on Skype once before. Now... trying to remember whom.. I think Luckz (once or twice), Asci, Shikaino and Panique...? I'm none too sure, can barely remember what happened last week, let alone last year. Curse you, degenerate mind!

Me and DekuQueen have been seriously looking into cheap ways to actually phone each other, but as far as we could find anything, it would cost us €1,64 per minute, which is ridiculous...

From Holland to Florida and vice versa, that is. If anyone has got some tips...to communicate without an internet connection, then please, give us some xD! It will be much appreciated :].

The alternative we use, is talking through a webcam (image and built-in mic) and Skype.

If we consider Skype as a valid way of 'phoning' someone, then I guess I can also say I've been talking to Cody, Nen and Humbro du Mundo.

I've spoken to Yami and lavvy on headset via xbox live.
I've spoken with Sir Lex Aileron, Zeldax3, DarkShadowLink9, Cody, and Andeh on Skype.
I've spoken with DK, Zeldax3 and DekuQueen on the phone.
And I speak with Sheikahchia via phone on a regular, constant basis.
