What Is Your Favorite Animal?

Yeah, um, like.

I like giraffes.
And ostriches.
And the brontosaurus is totally the best animal.

I've got a soft spot for pretty much anything with a ridiculously long neck.

If I could pick one more animal, it would be the Duck. After I saw a duck as a pet on the T.V. show Friends, I just found it hillarious.

The one nasty thing about Cormorants is the fact that they tend to nest in large numbers, and their poo builds up to the point where it completely covers nearby vegetation. That leads to areas that are rather lifeless, with dead trees and no plants or flowers.

There's a rather healthy population of Double Crested Cormorants where I live, and they are pretty cool birds. For aquatic birds I find the Common Loon more interesting though. They have quite an eerie call, are cleaner birds, and overall just seem more mystical to me as corny as that sounds. I used to wake up to their calls almost every morning as a kid.

I like most animals. The only ones I cannot like in any situation are hippopotami, and some different bugs.

But, my absolute favourite animal must be the baboon, specifically, the olive baboon, Papio Anubis. These animals are beautiful, and very interesting.

The mandrill, the colourful sort that people confuse with baboons, aren't as cool, but I like them, too.

However, I love dogs and cattle (especially cows) nearly as much as baboons. Other than that, I really like tigers, jaguars, sharks, arachnids, crustaceans (except woodlice, unless they are very big), cats, blackbirds, most corvids, raccoons, red pandas, raccoon dogs, pigeons, all snakes, Komodo dragons, and some others. I'm bound to forget some.

WATER BEARS!Water bears have got to be one of the coolest critters on the Earth.You can find them in most mosses and they are nearly indestructible.
