Online Shopping

God I love it!! And cosnidering I can't find half the stuff I buy anywhere else, it's perfect! Pretty much it's all Godzilla or kaiju stuff, actually I think it is all Godzilla or kaiju stuff...

Mostly I'm at amazon.com. They've got a ton of kaiju and monsters movies here, amny rather cheap. They also get to your house rather fast, one time my one Godzilla movie took two days only. The other thign I buy here on Godzilla books. They are no longer in print, and no bookstore has them. I can't think of any other site that has them, so if I really want one I go here again. I've boughten three or four already off there, and I plan to buy many others. Some are real novels *two novels I've bought are Godzilla 2000 and Godzilla At World's End*, some are junior novels, and others are just funny lil books. Some are expensive, others resonable...but if I got the money any price is worth it for Godzilla!!! ^_^

I buy trading cards too often, yes Godzilla trading cards they have a million sets. A while ago I bought three sets of the Godzilla Trading Collection series off Extreme Collectables.com. Nice price, shipping was only like 6 bucks and it was 6 bucks a pack I believe, and like 12 cards per pack I believe. The scenes they take from the movies are sweet. The site is pretty nice, they have a bunch of Godzilla/kaiju stuff as well as other anime and cool crud. I'm currently ordering a set of 24 Godzilla tarding cards for only $6.75 off ChibiGojiToys.com, perhaps one of the best kaiju merchandise sites out there. The stuff she's got is there is absolutley incredible, tons of toys/action figures, cards, mini figures, statues, and other stuff. I've also bought a cool lil vinly Godzilla figure there before too, and I plan to buy a lot more, ranging from the mini bottle cap trophies, the SD figures and of course those awesome 3 inch capsule toys!!!

So yeah, I buy mostly Godzilla and kaiju stuff, and mostly books or cards for that matter with them. And those are the main sites I shop at. Thank you internet for uniting me with such great kaiju merchandise ^_^

Re: Online Shopping

I think Online Shopping was one of the greatest ideas since, well, the internet. I've never done it myself, but i can see me buying some cool stuff over the internet, unless you're like one of my friends who is in debt to an internet company for a Star Trek Uniform (darn us, us band dorks...)

Re: Online Shopping

I have used online shopping facilities but it was through electronic gift vouchers that I had won through competitions, mainly cds. I lack the tools of a serious online shopper (credit cards ect). If i had these things I would buy all my clothes online and a whole heap of video game collectiables I am unable to find in town, not even the local comic book store has some of this stuff.

Re: Online Shopping

Well, about the only thing I do about shopping online is a few things on eBay. Not regularly, just for stuff you can't find around here, or just to get things cheaper. I should use it more, but you get things sooner if you go to the store and buy stuff. And shopping at a store you don't have to pay shipping.

Re: Online Shopping

Plain, but straight to the point. That's a plus at least. There are way too many sites out there that are confusing anyways. Besides, I don't even know html well, so what you can make is better than anything I can make right now. Just add a couple more colorful backgrounds (Like flowers perhaps?) and it'll look a lot better. Keep up the good work though DoD!

Re: Online Shopping

I buy all my Gamecube games online now, cause all the local stores are lazy and don't bother getting the new releases quick enough... grrr. And I find that if you look around you can find games that are about AU$10 or under the RRP.

Whats also good is that lots of sites are using different methods of payments to credit cards, which is great, cause now all I have to do is do a simple transfer when I'm doing some online banking.

Well that makes no sense at all. Online shopping is more often used to buy items that are not easily obtained at regular stores. I'm a frequent visitor of www.cdjapan.co.jp and www.yesasia.com myself.

Re: Online Shopping

I only use shop online when the thing I buy is not obtainable anywhere else. I don't do it often, I've only done it a few times.

I'm gonna buy The Zelda Collector's Disc online, at Nintendo.dk. They finally decided to give us Danish Zelda fans a special offer. Transfer 99 kr. to their bank account, leave them your adress and it'll be at your door within 2 weeks.

^^

Re: Online Shopping

I love online shopping because I can get a lot of things that I can't get anywhere else, plus I don't have to beg my mom to take me somewhere to shop, I can buy it at home ^_^

I mainly use Amazon.com, Ebgames.com, Gamestop.com, and Ebay.com to shop mostly for used video games and such. My most recent purchase is that I preordered Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life for Gamecube on Gamestop.com.

The best thing is, since I preordered it, I get a free stuffed cow

Re: Online Shopping

eBay! My saviour!

Use it quite frequently to get anime/manga items. Besides that I get some stuff from amazon, anime nation, and a few other places that people have probably never come across (like Kikiwai for a few Ayu CDs, heh).

There were others I used to use back in the day, like EBGames, Gamestop, and so on.. but I haven't used them in quite some time.
