Question The drink called tea

This is a serious thread!!

Sorry about the multiple same threads.
I'm having trouble getting the polls.

I wanted to start a thread about the drink called tea.
Because if tea could get me drunk I'd be an alcoholic.
And I want to see how many people here like tea and how the like it.
It's multi voteable. So vote what you are like.

I myself like sweet tea. No lemon please.
If I get unsweetend tea I try to use Sweet'n'Low sugar.
You??

(In before da-lock)

I like the Snapple Vers. of white and green teas. Which would include green apple, asian pear, mango, and two more in which I forgot.

No sugar or other stuff added, just green tea.

I prefer White Peach tea, with two teaspoons of sugar, and a dab of cream

Wow, I found that I checked each box except for the "I don't like tea" one.

I'm a notorious tea-a-holic, actually. (My favourite being good old Earl Grey). Although, I do like almost any flavoured black tea for the morning ritual. Then there are herbal teas, or low-caffeinated teas for the afternoon, and chamomile for the evening. Just the other week when I had tonsillitis, I found that one of the most soothing beverages on my throat was scorching hot mint tea. =3

Also, the key for black teas: cream and/or milk. The trick is to put it in BEFORE you pour the tea, so as not to scald. ^.^

I know that Green Tea is supposed to help lose weight faster, thoughj that is not really the reason I drink it. I dunno if it's the same for white tea

I drink tea pretty much constantly...milk and one sugar is how I prefer it, but I'm not too fussy. Aside from regular tea, Chai is also one I drink a lot, and also Earl Grey (Tea! Earl Grey! Hot!).

You're not wrong there. Also isn't it so annoying when people do teabag, water, milk, WITHOUT REMOVING THE TEABAG? And impatient people who poke and squash the teabag instead of letting it brew naturally.
Obviously, properly brewed in a teapot is the preferred method of drinking tea.

That reminds me.
Forgot another thing.
I'll drink warm, hot, and cold sweet tea.
I think that's it.

Oooh, I do a combination. =P I let it sit for five minutes, covered, then drop it up and down, and then finally squish it. I know. I'm crazy.

As for teabag, water, and milk without removal? That's just insanity! What a mess! A teapot would be great, but starving college students can't afford such luxuries!

I prefer any tea luke warm, and with sugar. It tastes good, and if added with honey, can sooth a sore throat easily.

Honey is for bees.....though I never tried it with tea, I never liked honey in the first place.

White Tea > Green Tea

Hot Tea >/= Chilled Tea

Sweet Tea > Normal Tea

Tea > Soda soul wise

Soda > Tea party wise.

Hot or warm Irish Breakfast Tea, sweetened only by honey, is my absolute favorite.

Tea is awesome.

I thought that I would just be vague and vote for, "I like tea."

Sweet tea is such a southern thing.

I like hot Green Tea, no sugar. I like Iced Tea with sugar.

But of course, I would much prefer hot Green Tea anyday. I'm not too picky about the brand, as long as it isn't crap. White Tea is okay...I suppose. Tea with fruit and candy in it is just nasty.

Yes. This is the stuff that scares me! Though, I probably wouldn't mind adding Chinese Five Spice to my tea--which contain a bit of liquorice.

A small amount of droppage is acceptable in my book, however I find squishing the teabag can ruin the flavour (patience is a virtue).
But yes, I shouted at my housemate earlier today for not removing the teabag before applying milk. It is insanity.
I can't afford a teapot either . I only use one when I'm at home with my family.

Drinking sweet iced tea is one of the few southern "traditions" that I actually do. I cannot drink warm or hot tea. I've tried, but I've always hated hot liquids whether it be tea or even soup. It's weird, I know. I also cannot drink unsweetened tea. It's gross! Recently, I've found that I like mango tea, thanks to Chili's. *nod*

It depends on what it's in. I've never had the actual fruit for reasons I've unsure of. I hate mango sorbet, but I loved the mango ice cream I had in a Japanese restaurant a few weeks ago. And apparently I like mango sweet tea, too.

By *nod* I meant either *nod* or . I intentionally typed *nod*, though.
