Your First Car?

I'm sure most of us here had there first car sometime down the line and of course the backstory to that as well.

My first car was a Nissan Altima 1993' it was so beat up that I never drove it lol. It stayed in my garage for 2 years no matter how many times I tried to fix it

My actual first car that drove lol was a Ford Taurus I forget the year though I think it was 94' and yeah it was one hell of a car. at least it got me to places but it scared the hell out of me cuz at times it would break down. That red Taurus of mine was a great party car hehe.

Eventually not all things last so my Taurus was getting pretty old it had no radio no AC the wind shield wipers broke down and the more money I put into it the more it would break down...pretty weird huh. So finally I got fed up with it and saved and saved some more

my new car is a 2007 Dodge Caliber

here is a picture of it

This car is freakin sweet and love taking care of it. Its roomy as hell and hauls lot of ass on the road. Gas milage is great too.

So Whats your First Car people?

Re: Your First Car?

I got my first car nearly eight years ago, a dark gray 1991 Toyota Corolla--and I'm happy to report that I still use that car to this very day. Longevity FTW!

Re: Your First Car?

hey man thats a pretty good car I had a buddy who drove a Toyota Corolla. He always decked it out with Irish flags lol

its a foreign car so it lasts pretty long

In my opinion I think the best american car is Dodge, while I was looking for a car I was actually looking into a pick up. Dodge has great warranties and its kick ass non the less

Re: Your First Car?

This is my first car, a 1964 Chevelle Station Wagon. I bought it at $4000, and it was in pretty decent condition then, minus the interior. My dad and I spent an entire summer working on her, everything from engine and transmission work, installing an awesome sound system, to completely overhauling the interior. Now, she makes an amazing show car, a great vehicle for hauling a large amount of cargo or people, and one hell of a drag racer.

I put her 400 Horse Power, 1970 Corvette 350cubic inch engine to good use. I wouldn't wanna waste it.

...this is my kind of post! Great car bro...it seems you have a passion for the american muscle.

I think my favorite old car of all time which I plan on building myself soon is

the 1970 Dodge Charger....one word to describe that is Balls! So much torque and power. Its tobad I wasn't born around that era I probly would have owned one for each day of the week lol

Re: Your First Car?

Well damn, nice choice there, JC. I was always a fan of the old Chargers, they're pretty awesome. If I could work on any classic car, it'd probably be an old Shelby Cobra, a 1970 Chevelle SS coupe, a 1969 GTO, or a 1970 Dodge Charger. Sure, that's not really narrowed down, but it never hurts to have choices..>>

Yeah thanks you got a pretty impressive line up too...Cobra is awsome. I went to the Chicago autoshow last year and they displayed the new Cobras that will be comming out....if not out already. I'm not fond of the new Chargers now days...they look nothing like there old and better versions. A new charger now looks similiar to a Chrysler 300...same body style and everything trust me thats not attractive to me. But have you seen the new concept model for the Dodge Challenger? That car looks so bad ass and retro man

Hey! We must've gone car shopping at the same place. Toys R Us, right?

I have a shiny Ford something or another that is a pain when it comes to turning corners, and some of the worst shock absorbers available. What fun.

All that added weight over the rear axle is amazing for drag racing, and it's still damn sexy, thank-you-very-much.
