Ups & Downs: Mood Swings

Ugggg, lately I've been laden with work, work, work and a couple midyear exams inbetween. As a direct result, Ive been having mood swings like crazy. @_@ It's okay in the mornings, but once I get around to those late hours, I start to get stressed. Is anyone else feeling this way, or is it just me?

It's called puberty, my friend. Raging hormones cause you to act that way. Every teenager goes through a period like that...some longer than others. I've had some crazy mood swings in the past, though I think I've gotten over them by now. At least they're more subtle, anyway.

Haha you said bin laden. Anyways, I have mood swings all the time but I don't have anything major like tests and stuff. Maybe I'm crazy o_O

I have huge mood swings. Right now, i'm plagued with accelerated classes, which puts on a huge pile of stress with all of the homework each day, especially when you know you have to make your daily visit to ZU

Well, thats a bit of the problem. Sometimes I just don't get around to going to ZU. In fact, I haven't been in for a long while

P.S. Plagued isn't the right word, I'm being Tortured by my Honors classes :mad:

It sounds like you are just under alot of stress..
Stressing out causes mood swings. I know all too well about this.

I know what you are talking about. sometimes, life just gets a bit ahead of us! I have just finished my play, and now I am much better. But I still have finals yay

IT is all in how you deal with it. My friend is usually boring as could be. But when he is stressed out, he actually tells jokes.

But everyone has these stress things. You will overcome though.

PS Plagued is actually a good word choice in that case

aaaaahhhhh!!!! talk about stress!!!! i just had an english project on the reign of terror and the french revoltution due and my freind and i stayed up until 5 in the morning finishing it..... and then i had a science project and a math project and a geography project and..... well the onlly classes i DIDN'T have a project in were PE and orchestra!!!!! seriously theres something about the spring that brings out the evil side of teachers.....

Na, I don't think so. I have been in a lot of stress lately because I couldn't find a job and my classes are harder than last semaster. Especially my American Literature class. This class is a nightmare. Well, my stresses are all over, thank goodness.

lol, ZT it is DEFINITELY puberty. i never had mood swings, i was always good at hiding emotions during my early puberty stages right up until about a week ago. now, it is outta wack, i cant even think straight. i want my school certificate so bad but i have these moods and i get all attitudy and i just sit there doing nothing at all.
another thing, girls. by now, i am just sick of them so much i dont want to have anything to do with them except for a *SELECT* few of them. i am supposed to be going to the movies with one of my closest friends, who so happens to be a girl *mock gasp*, and she is having bf troubles so she said she might not go now. well, i will talk to her and we will see, but it kinda hit me how complex girls really are

I never have many mood swings either. Alot of the reason is because I'm lazy. I could have taken the Accelerated classes, but I didn't. Well, I took a history and a spanish, but that's all. See? Laziness.

My job isn't really that bad (freakin fast food restaurant) although the customers can be a pain sometimes.. I really hate stupid people. I just try not to let the customers or my job get to me. Some people I work with don't really understand that.. which is why they are freaked out everyday. Just relax. That's all you have to do. Oh.. and be lazy from time to time. You know.. to get the blood flowing and all.

i think i probably do have mood swings, altho i dont realise it. right now i have about 7 pieces of coursework that i have 2 do... all due 4 monday & some which have been due for weeks!! but no... im not stressed! :rolleyes: but i am in denile (sp?)

I, too, have much coursework. 13 peices, to be exact. Fortunatly, most of them I just have to type up, but still I have my moods.

Usually, this isn't about overwork, but I have moods if conversation treads onto a subject a little too close to home.

ive never really had mood swings... im 15 and have never really had noticeable mood swings. when im mad im really mad but thats about it. im never really sad or really happy. just hyper, depressed, or enraged. and thats not on my own... its after sugar or when someone puts me down alot or someone pisses me off

Sometimes, I have them, If I have been mistreatred. I'll get all depressed and stuff. I hate it so much.

I'm pretty sure it is puberty. I've had some occassional mood swings, most of them occuring at school. I've been in ISSP (In School Suspension Program) and I'm not going back. I think one reason I've been having mood swings is because the teachers seem to be overloading us with work, and they claim that they're doing that to prepare us for next year. I'm pretty sure they're right, but do they have to give us this much work?
