The Church and my friend and me hyped up on sugar... BAD combo

We were walking home from school one day when we passed the daily church. Then he dared me to do something and- despite my own self esteem- we walked up to the church doors.
'Go on Tommy... just do it!' he said.
'No...' I said, bursting with fits of laughter.
'Oh come on.'
And then he said it.
'Three... two... one' something about the fact that I felt like I was timed made me do it.
I opened the doors, everyone (about eight people) all stared at me, and I yelled
'I'VE SEEN THE LIGHT!!!'

Then we ran right out there, explodng with laughter. We ran and ran, making a good distance between us and the church.

Why I did it, who knows. Anybody done anything like that?

Luckily it was diet coke, so it won't make everything sticky.

shouldn't snort that stuff, man. hehe. oh, ..spat. ahem... -_-

*hides pixie-sticks*

Hmm...I'm not sure if I've ever openly made fun of someone like that. I kinda enjoy diversity, though, so maybe I made some joke in a crowd, heh. Gotta watch what you say, though. Not good to hurt peeps.

Of course, that's not related to what you did. I wonder what those people think. They probably were like "heh, what a crazy kid." I guess the thing that matters is the thrill, eh? Not the effect?

I hate having my grammar corrected.

I just barely woke up and I'm kinda groggy, it was forgivable.

Anyways, I've never been one to pull those kinds of jokes. I have neither the sense of humor or wit to hatch such things.

I once walked through a dank bar singing...

"You've got to get yourself together you've got stuck in a moment and you can't get out of it"

I don't know if thats the same kinda thing.

Re: The Church and my friend and me hyped up on sugar... BAD combo

Hmmm.. let me see.

Well, there was one time we went exploring in some old church, and I stole some rock from under the priest's stand, or whatever it was called. My parents later concluded that it could have been some "holy rock", so I replaced it with some regular rock of approximately the same size... and kept my precious relic for myslef. BUAHAHAHA!

Umm... and when I was little I was dared to sing the Australian National Anthem with my pants down, in front quite some crowd. *strong bad voice* Oh the embarrassment!

So, umm. Yeah. *backs into shadows* O_o

well in holland (maybe elsewhere too)
a commercial, of Volvo, and this guy ahs a new volvo, and everyone starts hugging him
we wait near a super market.
when someone gets out of a car, we storm at them hugging him/her
and then one of us says, "hey this isnt even a volvo!" then we all walk away, mumbling "srupid, no-volvo-people"
the looks on their faces, realy funny

*falls off chair*
I would have *loved* to have seen you in action, Saderox! If I were one of those people in the church, I probably would have chuckled to myself, and fall down or something...

Kedisar, the reason you didn't turn heads is the fact that you act like every other crazy person in wal mart. Believe me, I know ^_^

Ok, I am sure it is funny, in the end. But I must say it is mostly rude. I am personally offended that you would do that. While it may be funny to you, it is what their faith is based on their entire lives. And you moched it.

The other stories are slightly more funny though.

Re: The Church and my friend and me hyped up on sugar... BAD combo

Meh. Half and half. Somewhat funny, though rather rude. But I can't say I've done nothing stupid ever in church, even if I am very Catholic...-_-

Crazy story from me? Well, not sure if I've told this one already but...

One day in religion class last year my teacher was rambling on about porn. She was saying that for us it is morally wrong and how it is against and religion and degrating yadda yadda, and then all of a sudden I started giggling and snickering. I think it was from a joke I heard but I can't remember at all perfectly. Anyways as I did that and she continued talking about porn, she stopped, looked at me with a bit of a smile and said- "Jeffrey what are you laughing at?" I swear to God th entire class just tuned and looked at me and started laughing their butts off. At first my eyes widened, and then my ears went red. Dang I was sooooo embarrassed!!! XD!!!

Wanna know what the joke was for the rest of the day?

"Hey everybody Jeff's a porn fanatic!"

And to think I've always been the one to talk about how I think porn is so bad ^_~

Re: The Church and my friend and me hyped up on sugar... BAD combo

Thats great Saderox :p. Anyway ya my friend did something like that. He was so hyper off a Jolt Coca Cola, and he wanted to mess with people, so we went to the Saturday evening service (Not in it just to the church where it was being held). Well he isnt religious, so he doesent care how many people he pisses off, niether does he know how many people were going to curse him (Not to mention how horibly insulting it was to alot of people)...

Well anyway, he walks up and opens the doors and yells "Come all thy children, I, son of God have returned, please give me thy money" then he burst into laughter and called them suckers. Then he ran out like hell (I did too, except I was on my bike so I was ahead of him). Everyone in town kept saying stuff, and the church wanted him arrested, and was offering a reward for him.

Re: The Church and my friend and me hyped up on sugar... BAD combo

Thats pretty funny. One time my friends and I were walking home from school. We found a piece of card board, so we wrote on it using mark. We wrote "Won't Kill" and walked around with it pretending we were hitch hikers. And there was the time I switched the coffee labels at Rosaurs from regular to Decaf. Also when ever I hear a bad joke I laugh as loud as I can; pretending it was funny. Or just start laughing when ever somebody starts telling me a joke.

necroton, I wasn't correcting your grammar. It was a joke...but...maybe not many people got it -_-

Anyway, if peeps are so insecure about their "religion" then they deserve to be shaken up, eh? Not that what you did wasn't rude or anything, but hey, I know how I would react to something like that. then again... *BBD is not normal*

Hence why I said that BBD. Honestly, I probably would've snickered at that. As for all the times I've acted like lil Mr. Religious or Mr. Morality, I would've most surely got at least a giggle. And as I said, rude, but still something I find somewhat funny, not hilarious, but meh funny.

Because I've done stuff just as bad, maybe not making fun of a religion, but some dang bad stuff. And there have been one or two times in church even where I've acted a tiny bit dumb...-_-

And hey, I pray that this is true, if not I'm dead *^_~* as they say- Even God has a sense of humor...maybe not the best, but he was one

*I made up the ending part because I think it's true...*
