I hope to make this thread less spamy and not like the following.
-Person1:I am {this} and this is why {gives an example}
-Person2: *Does the same thing*
I want members to talk about it, and not just explain why you might fit into one or more of the perosonalities, but also give an experience that might help explain why you fit into that personality. See if you had a similar experience and compare and contrast them. See if there is anyone outside
ZU that might fit into that perosonality. (I do not want members to say {User-name} is this {gives an excample and why}. Doing so might lead to flamming in which is something I do not want.
"The Newb" (All of us were like this before) (Newbs/Noobs/Noobs)
Newbs are generally new members and have a tendency to be unfamiliar with where they are, and what to do at certain times. Newbs are often people who make the biggest mistakes in a group enviroment, and usually the first ones to take a dirt nap in banishment or in the realm of in-active users.
Pros: Newbs can often bring in new perpectives or freash ideas into a group situation.
Cons: Newbs may slow down a groups progression. They may not be the best people to bring into groups due to lack of experience, or knowledge.
"The Complainer"
Complainers live up to thier name by moaning and whining about everything, including the Clans, rules, ect. Complainers are well-known for initiating controversy through long-winded triades about what ever is bothering them at the time.
Pros: Like talkers, complainers can also be expected to make situations interesting, since they never run out of things to complain about.
Cons: Complainers can be a big annoyance to most members, and may cause others to avoid them.
"The Genius"
Geniuses excel in proving you wrong about everything and are in famous for quoting random facts about any particular subject at any given time. They know more about your class then you and tend to have an jerk like air about themselves.
Pros: Geniuses bring in a lot of useful information to a group setting and are generally respected for thier knowledge of the rules and what to do at a given time.
Cons: The Geniuses know it all attitude can a be turn off for some people, and thoes with the jerk like attitude mentality can some times push other members away.
"The Quiet Person"
Quite people keep to themselves and don't talk when addressed. Whenever they log on to chat there is usually at least someone who asks "who is he/she?". Quite people tend to not answer and generally avoid most chats whether with his/her buds or otherwise.
Pros: Quite people can always be counted on to keep things on the down low. Such as explaining something that does not need to be known.
Cons: Since quite people tend to keep to themselves and not talk much, it's hard to tell whether or not they are on or just sleeping.
"The Talker"
Talkers always have something to say, whether it be about game events, world news, or evne weather or any other random thing that crosses thier mind. They usually fill up thier buddy list or are always at a Clan party or chat thread. They fill threads up with walls of text regarding the current subject and are quick to do ninja'd-ing.
Pros: Talkers can make boring situations seem less so because they often have an abundance of stories to share at any given time.
Cons: Talkers are too busy chatting to pay attention to what is going on around them. They may annoy thoes members who value a normal ammount of chatting or text in one post.
"The Drama Queen"
Drama Queens want to be the center of attention in any situation, and will go to great lengths to achieve this. Drama Queens are the first to spread rumors or gossip about other members.
Pros: Drama Queens often know what going on with other members in thier buddy list and so they can be a good source of preliminary information.
Cons: Drama Queens tend to cause drama, even if none exists by drawing attention to themselves or others at inopportune times.
"Helpy-Helperson"
Helpy-Helpersons volunteer to help with anything and everything. If you want a question answered they are more then likly going to give you the answer. They are happy to lend their info to others whenever they can.
Pros: Everyone loves Helpy-Helpersons, as they generally have an upbeat and positive attitude.
Cons: None, really. Unforturnately, the Helpy-Helperson is a probably the least-seen personaility compared to other personailities.
"The Jerk"
The bane of most members' existence, Jerks can be fairly difficult to deal with. Jerks don't care how they treat other players and generally lack tact when dealing with other members. They yell, scream and or insult other members and they are generally known for thier behavior.
Pros: Jerks have an uncanny knack for motivating people to be succesful in the fourms of
ZU and other fourms.
Cons: Nobody likes to be around Jerks, whether on the internet or real life. These people might cause members to leave buddy lists or even quit the fourm in some extream circumstances.
"The Muti-Tooner:
Everyone has alternate characters but Muti-Tooners are exteramists. The proverbial "master of everything" side makes them a little of every personality.
Pros: If they are decent members Muti-Tooners can bring a lot of knowledge or experience to any situation.
Cons: If they are sub-par members they will usually have a poor gear or lack of experience to give out to other members.
"The Joker"
The "class clows" in
ZU, everything is a joke to the Jokers. They tend to take more of a lighthearted approach to groupings and chats. They thinki they are funny with everything littkle thing they do.
Pros: Jokers exsit to bring comic relief to thier fellow ZUers and especially when things get too seroius, and love to make others laugh.
Cons: Jokers may be too busy enteraining others to pay attention to what they are doing, which may result in flamming, ect.
