Okay, that's it.
You know what? Enough is enough.
Bets, ownership, money... whatever. I don't give a damn. That's right. I don't care. Who owns ZU? How'd they get it? What do I care? I've been webmaster here for longer than anyone who could hold the title. Whatever others may say or think, I rule ZU. I don't pay the bills, I don't make the money, you don't donate to me, but I am the one keeping it going. That doesn't change when the money-mover changes, didn't before, doesn't now. It does not matter who owns the site, I will NOT allow bull**** to happen beyond a certain point. And you know what? That point was passed at some point while I was busy with things beyond the Internet (they exist). Amazing what sorts of crap happen when you're not watching, isn't it? Well, how about this for crap when you're not watching? I'm server admin. Simple truth. I can do whatever I damned well please because of it, and what I "please" at this point is reversing this "new order" junk, and putting all my powers back in place. Ah, the joys of root access. VGRC be damned.
