Eyebrow peircing.

Hey guys, I'm going to be going be starting school for law enforcment at the end of the summer, and was curious about somthing..

I really want an eyebrow peircing, but my school does not allow it, and neither does the law enforcment corse(i'm assuming). Lets say I got an eyebrow peircing, how could I conceal it when i'm at school? I don't want to get it done, then get to school and have them say take it out, because it closes up pretty fast when you first get it done right?

Anyone that has experiance with peircings, tell me what I could do to get the peircing, and properly conceal it without causing an uprise of teachers on my a$$ about it haha.

You go to our school, have you seen how short the guys have their hair in law enforcement?

Probably the best thing to do is hold off getting a piercing until you're done with the course.

But it's only a basic course. You're still in high school- I don't think that they require for your hair to be that short.
Not unless you were actually in the profession.

Actually, you are correct about the fact that I don't have to, but it is part of the uniform.
Therefor without my haircut my employability points will be cut down, disolving my grade. xD

It's not pubilc highschool, it's a vocational school, remember the tests to get in??
Or did you not have to take those? In SCORE, we had to take tests to get in...

What about the girls?
They have long hair- why should they be treated differently because they are female?

I thought the same thing, it's pretty damn sexist if you ask me, but the guys apparently have to be "properly groomed".

Have they told you that you needed your hair to be cut off?

You could just try to cover it with your hair like Sahrrie said, or you could get one of those clear stud things. They don't conceal it too well, but they sort of do, and at least they could see you were attempting to conceal it? :| Or just wear.. a permanent bandaid on that spot? :D

I'm with Sinoda. Plus if you do anything that could pull it out you'll have a really nasty scar.

You wouldn't want them to not allow you to take the course if they notice.

If not that. They have small clear bars that pretty much just look like mole things.

I would actually reccomend against getting an eyebrow piercing, since it's a waste of money. Eyebrow piercings are surfact piercings, and surface piercings always reject. For some people it takes years, for some it takes days, but it always happens, no matter what. I've talked to a lot of tattoo and piercing people, and even the ones that have it admit that they don't know of a case where it hasn't rejected.

So my input is save the money and don't bother.

I respect galedeep for actually trying to help me out, and giving me constructive critism, but theres no need for you guys to come in here and tell me what i'm doing is pointless. It's somthing I want, and I will do it.

It's not that it's the "worst thing to do." It's that, big ****ing deal, they won't let you have a piercing.

Nothing short of slathering clay on your face is going to hide that.

Screw piercings. Your school won't allow it, so trying to get one is a rather dumb idea. Getting expelled from a vocational school just for a little piece of metal in your forehead that most people find distasteful just doesn't seem right.

Ya know what though, if your so stalwart on getting a piercing, go ahead and do it. Wear it proudly. Get punished. Then we can say we told you so.

Also I just have to mention you spelled piercing wrong. It's been bugging me for a while.

Lettsee... you could just replace your earring with that clear mini-plastic nail... whateva those things are called, if that's what'ur looking for ^_^
