okay, so today, I was on youtube. For some reason, I decided to search for a slash solo. I watched the solo and was impressed, so I went to leave a comment. I noticed someone had said "slash isn't that great" and another user called phatjoe170 had replied that he was a "****" and several other not very nice things. I told him that he should not bash people and that he is entitled to his opinion. about 3 hours later, he sent me the following message.

I warn all that this message does contain offensive stuff, And I am copy and pasting this straight from my inbox at youtube.

I can't even beleive this. What kind of a person, would get so pissed off over me simply implying that he should calm down? I mean, seriously. The things that were said are absolutely inane. What the hell has this world come to, that Someone would say something like this simply because I was trying to defend somebody? Is there anyway I can report him for this? Becuase if he said this to me in real life, I think I would have beaten him until My clothings dawned a new shade of red. Worst thing is, I can't even say anything back.

Why do people have to be such jerks? why does everyone suck so much?

I find the comments on Youtube to be funny actually. The users on that site have the professional ability to drive a conversation away from the whole premise of the movie. In fact, just saying the "N" word will get you a whole barrage about how you're lowlife and an incestuous redneck.

Just do what I do and spam for the lulz.

Don't take anyone seriously on youtube. 99% of the comments are by losers who feel proud when the "bash" someone they've never met. They think that the amount of swear words they use and the amount of sexual insults they make make them cooler or something.

Youtube never ceases to amaze me at how low the intelligence of some people can be.

Seriously, that YouTube guy was an idiot, but what do you expect? It looks even worse when you're willing to give people like this the kind of attention that you're displaying now.

Hahah, honestly, I wouldn't take that seriously at all. Some people just enjoy taking "Dude, shut up, I don't care" to the extreme of extremes. Once they throw in some of the terms you used, (especially the purple segments), you can be pretty sure they're just going nuts for the sake of going nuts.

Unfortunately though, I can understand why the OP would be upset to get such a message as it's not something someone would expect popping up in their inbox. If it were me, I'd find it comical when similar messages end up in mine for their sheer absurdity, but not all people are like that, I guess. That's what youtube (as well as many part of the internet) can be like though, where people send messages like that because they can. Their bravado comes from being behind an anonymous internet username; most people would never say such things to another person's face or else they'd likely get their teeth punched out.

That's not to say that the world is getting worse or everyone's a dick, there's always been people like that and since our world has gotten 'bigger' over the years (bigger populations, the internet allowing us to communicate from all over the planet, e.t.c), we're just seeing more of these tards than we used to. They always existed, we just didn't know it until now.

I never take anything from youtube comments that seriously. I just leave my comments about the video and then either favorite the vid or find something else to watch.

Ugh.... there are a lot of stupid people in this world.... I just try to ignore them. I've gotten PMs and IMs with that kind of message before. Its ridiculous...
