Why did you come to these Forums?

I was looking for a walkthrough for LoZ and OoT. I visited this site almost every day for a year before I actually joined.

Well I heard about it at LegendofZelda.com, alot of people came here after LOZ went down so I registered, posted, left, came back, left, came back etc etc.

At the time I was posting at a few different forums, but most of them went down. One day I came across this site, there wasn't a lot of members, only about 100 if that. So I signed up so I could met some new people.

I was looking for fan fictions to read. I read all the fan fictions on Kasuto's web site, but after a while he didn't update his website anymore. So, I did a search on Google to find a good Zelda website to read more fan fictions. I came across on ZU like in August, but I joined the forums in November.

because I have followed ZU since it first opened and he was just an affiliate of mine.....I always supported his site.....and now he hosts me......

the least I could do for somebody who has helped out my site loads is join the forums...

i was checking the site, and saw there were forums.
i signed up for them a loooong time ago...
but i forgot my password AND about the site.
some months later i said "well, lets give it another shot".
i got a new password and started posting.

I had been at a few forums for about a year (skateboard.com.au, skateboard.com etc.) and then I went searching for WW information on the internet. I cam across this site, loved the layout and after 10 or so minutes just browsing it I had a look at the forums. It was then that I decided that I wanted to join, what I was seeing was unbelievable. People were using real grammer, capatalizing and all! They weren't even letting people have posts like 'cool' and stuff. It was amazing. So I joined
For the first month or so I tried to keep a low profile as I got the gist of how to chat on these forums. It was really wierd at first trying not to spam but I think I've generally got the hang of it now

my mate was here so i came along. basicly i am searching for fans of :

1 dragons
2 anime

and that is why i came here. oh and as zelda was one of my first RPGs, i thought WTFE, i'll try anything once.

I came here for Zelda related stuff cause I was bored during summer vacation.

i came here 1st becoz of the zelda games... but then i never posted here coz i couldnt really be bothered & im a member of other forums so i never really got round 2 it... then a friend (you kno who u r) persuaded me 2 come back. thats it really!

heh heh. hey narya. glad you came back. this is a great great place and thats why i encourage others to either come back, or just come. i know a few friends who will be joining in the near future

I had been on a dead forums for almost a year (only 20 posts there =\) and I wanted something bigger.
My brother first introduced me to forums, so I was used to see he on his forums (the ones he was on), but unfortunaly (as I didnt know), his forums didn't care much about flaming and spammng.. Offcourse they had rules, but I were use to (by looking at him) a more sarcastic forums..
So when I joined here, my 4 first post was flaming against Malony.. I still feel bad about it, and meant it al as sarcasm..
So..
Thats why I joined I guess o,ô I wanted in to a bigger forums..

I came to the forums, because a good good friend of mine was doing a certain comic for ZU for awhile...
I had to show my support, so I arrived.....
But I stayed once she departed, because I can't stay away from you guys!!

I came to these forums. Well i er was looing for sprites. Then looked at the humour. And thought i wouldnt need to register at the forums. But i did. And thats how i came here. Oh it was for zelda.

Here's my story:

NOTE: There's A LOT more to it, but you don't want to hear how I found Chaostic forums...that's WAY too long...you can go there to read it.

I was on another forum at the time, called Chaostic (Sorry I can't post the link, but why would you want it?), and I am still registered, though do not post much anymore at all. I registered myself during december, and contributed to the forum a lot. Durin the time I had saved up and bought Wind Waker and a Gamecube, and started play. Whereas before I was on that forum every day, now I was on it once a week. I started to get a little over-obsessed with Wind Waker, and I had already known about ZU before, but just as a great Zelda information site. During while I played, I started to take an extreme liking to the character Medli, and so signed a fanlising about her. I made some codes, contributed to it, yada yada, and didnt think I had had enough Medli for a month. So I went in search of a forum that had people talking about wind waker and possibly other zelda games. I did find some, but none were very good forums and as well made as Chaostic was and is. I found some people taking about Medli vs. Marin, and how they're alike, but nothing interesting and in depth, I thought there were just no good forums out there. Soon after I learned that the best Zelda site i had ever been to (ZU duh) also hosted a large forum. I went to visit it, and it turned out to be a really great place. I signed up as goldenchaos, like i do on all my forums (should've call myself ultimate_medlifan or something...) and vuala! Here I am! I do now just notice how well the rules here are enforced, at Chaostic they were much more lenient. But it sure is great to be at a good forum again!

i needed a place to hang out while I had a little free time at work...

i started at LoZ.com, but that started to really suck and I was one of the first refugees over to ZU...

this place is much better anyways and I'm glad I was introduced to it...
