Because technically the cosmic calendar does and end, and restart.
But I've also heard things dealing with the complete reversal of the magnetic poles.

The poles take tens of thousands of years to reverse.

Which is actually occuring, and could throw us into another Ice Age. Which if we survived once, we can survive again.

Reversal of the poles wouldn't cause an ice age.

No. Any right-minded, well read Christian would know that not enough prophesies had not been fulfilled yet at the time. 2000 was merely the year that people thought all things based on electronics and that had a calendar would somehow 'crash' since beforehand, there was no year '20'00 within the programming of numerous electronic calenders. Nothing significant ever really happened after "Y2K." Just a few technical errors around the globe here and there.

2012? Hmm. Something might happen. But I'm not omniscient, so I can't really say either way.

It has to be before the day of my birthday, nice. Well, I'm not really confirming that nothing will happen, I'll just wait and see. Though I doubt it.

Nothing will happen.... How much would you bet on that? I will bet 999million dollars that something will happen. Safest bet in the universe...

Because if nothing happened on this date... that would mean that all of existance some how went 'Bye-Bye' in which case... nothing could happen because there is nothing...

Anyways my guess is that something will happen... just not the end of the world. Maybe some cults will mass suicide like someone said, or the world as we know it will end, that something drastic would change it, whether it be for good or bad. Dont know.

but then again, I doubt anything to drastic will happen. Will probably be like any other day.

I do believe something will happen on that date, but not necassarly the end of the world. Remember, alot of the Bible's predictions were correct, and if what happens in Revelation comes to pass, it is humanity that will decimate, and not Earth itself.

Remember, the Tribulation can happen at anything between now and the future.

After I seen that thing on the History Channel about UFO's being in the Bible and the fact that no human can predict the end of the world. I don't believe any of it. If God or whatever higher being wants to end the world, then they'll end the world.


Btw, I also remember those History channel idiots say that Osama Bin Laden might be The Anti-Christ,I knew that this may be a bunch of crap.

I heard something was supposed to ocme from the sun and break the o-zone layer or something and cut off electricity world-wide. I dunno.

Maybe, maybe not. Some feel that the United States is "The Beast from the Land." Remember the US does have the potential to take over the world. If it wins the war, it'll support my theory. If it loses, Osama being the Anti-chist is more supported.

I personally think that Martin Luther is right, and the papacy is the Anti-chist. Maybe not the current pope, but a future one. Its the only thing that makes sence! Who else has that kind of worldly control?

No, I'm pretty sure I'm right.

Those "predictions" either involve the life of Jesus (which was recorded by people who had a vested interest in altering his life's story to match them), are incredibly vague, are common sense, are standard hyperbole, or any combination of the previous.

Keep in mind that the source cited to show how these prophecies came true tends to be the Bible...which doesn't exactly count as an unbiased source.

However, this isn't the thread (or forum) for discussing this.
