What are YOU thankful for?
I was surprised that I didn't see this kind of thread, especially with Thanksgiving right around the corner. So I'm just looking at what people are thankful for. I'll start off.
Family I love my mom and my dad. They support me all the way and have unconditional love for me. Thanks mom and dad! Friends I know this is pretty stereotypical so far, but I truly am. My friends get me through the day, and sometimes even make me look forward to school. Which, by the way, is probably once in three years I look forward to a single school day. Fortunate I'm glad I live with decent parents with a nice sized house. I can buy all the games I want to buy, just my parents don't let me because they think I have too many. You can never had too many games. So yeah, these are my main thankfulness, and...whats yours?

Thankful for:
my boyfriend's patience in how he lives so far away and he puts up with it, my animals are all health and happy, getting to see my dad after five years... I can't name them all but I'm thankful for everything.

We have a saying.. *smoothes her skirt down* (that wasn't the saying btw)
That goes something like "And if you try and count the blessings bestowed upon you, you'll never be able to number them. Surely man is unjust and ungrateful" I haven given up trying to count. And counting within itself or numbering can be very ignorant for the VAST number of things we take for granted. Why, we also have another saying that goes "if someone wakes up in full health, enough provision for the day and a roof over their heads, they've encompassed life's most precious commodities within their grasp" The health bit in itself can be enough reason to be ecstatic - have you ever fallen ill? It's not always easy to remember one's health as a HUGE blessing before illness. But sometimes, wee things remind us. Like.. and this is a favourite of mine- ever was walking and then huge gusts of beautiful breeze/wind blow around you? when that happens - Take a deep DEEP breath! then hold it! then let it out slo~wly. Love-ly. (and a great time to say a furtive thanks that I don't have a problem with my lungs or freedom to be able to experience this >_> ) So, be thankful whenever you remember something to be thankful for and not just at one time of the year ^___^ Alhamdulillah for everything. *walks off whistling* Last edited by Anime_Queen; 11-20-2007 at 04:15 AM.

I'm thankful for being alive. Mostly because the chance that I would be the one fertilized by my parents was one in a million. So, cherish life and whatnot, because you could've always never had it at all.

Everything. I'm thankful for my entire life, and the life of all of you. I'm thankful for everyone's life, I'm thankful for the wonderful country I live in and the wonderful planet it's on.
