Favorite Sites?
So I just got to looking at my tabs. I noticed that I have a lot of web pages open at once. So I decided I'd ask what are ZUer's favorite websties?
For me: Obviously ZU Animekisok.com Hyrule Landwar Forums (part of a clan arena game) ZreoMusic.com Youtube Blackle (so much better than google) Also, how many tabs do you keep open at once? I typically have about 4 to 8 at any given moment.

Re: Favorite Sites?
The FictionAlley forums comes first in my list of favourite sites. Though I tell myself, repeatedly, that I've overcome my Harry Potter obsession, I always drop in to visit the VENOM forum and get my daily intake of "Can't Stand Character/Ship/Situation X". It's a morbid amusement, enlightening on the occassion, and never boring.
Skipping from that pinnacle of my preference to the sites that form preference's core:
Ooh, I love that site! I generally keep at least four tabs open: one for the site in which I am currently browsing, one for Dictionary.com, one for whatever YouTube music video/ZreoMusic flash player I'm listening to, and one for miscellaneous activity: a glance at Wikipedia, a search engine needed on the spot, a website to peruse while another is loading. Re: Favorite Sites?
Hey guys, can we get a little more detail in these posts, rather than just listing the sites you like to go to? Perhaps why you like the sites, a little description as to what they are or how you discovered them? Otherwise this thread isn't so much a discussion as it is just a bunch of lists and well...that's just not fun. So let's get some detail into these posts, nkay? Look, I'll even demonstrate:
ZU Forums - Of course. I spend quite a bit of my online time here, just hanging around. AbsolutePunk - While its got a huge and active community, I pretty much use it for the news it provides about music, and not just "punk" music as one would think. It keeps tabs on most news in the music scene. AudioBoard Forums - Music community over at VGRC. I'm a huge music nerd, so I like to hang out around there so I can indulge in discussions and such. IMDb - I go here once a day to check big news in the music and tv industry, as well as look at the trivia and quote of the day. There's also new links provided at the bottom five days a week, some of which are great to check out. Cracked - Cracked used to be a terrible humour magazine. Then somehow they revamped themselves and now they have some pretty hilarious articles up on their online site. I really got into it in the past couple months when one of my favourite humour writers, David Wong, got a senior editor job there. News Askew - Provides news and links relating to Kevin Smith, as well as the many people who have worked and continue to work with him. Silent Bob Speaks - Kevin Smith's personal blog. Great candid look into his life, as well as just entertaining to read. Whedonesque - Sort of the same as News Askew, only specifically for Joss Whedon and those who have worked and continue to work with him. YouTube - Doesn't really need any explanation, just a fantastic way to kill time. Facebook - I don't spend as much time on it as a lot of other people, or most people for that matter, but there's worse things. It's a good way for me to keep in touch with friends that I don't get to see so much now that we're all scattered through different towns and cities. Wikipedia - My default search engine, because I just can waste so much time going from page to page on the site. Questionable Content - My favourite webcomic, updates five days a week. That about covers the sites I visit on a regular basis.

Re: Favorite Sites?
Digg - I love this site, I go here many times every day. "News stories and websites are submitted by users, and then promoted to the front page through a user-based ranking system." (Description from Wikipedia)
Diggnation - Going along with Digg, Diggnation is a podcast that covers some of the hottest stories from Digg.com each week. Demonoid - Great site for downloading whatever, although it's down at time of typing. Invite-only. TorrentFreak - Provides information on torrents and the like. GameFAQs - This is my homepage. Video game FAQs, codes, message boards, poll of the day, etc. Wikipedia - Everyone knows what Wikipedia is... I can search for one thing here and wind up spending a ton of time looking at other articles. XKCD - Just recently became interested in this site. It's a great webcomic, I highly recommend it. Lifehacker - Blog providing life hacks and tips for Windows, Mac, and Linux. GBAtemp - "The largest GBA and DS community on the web." TwoKinds - Great manga-style webcomic, still in progress. QJ - Provides a lot of video game information. I use it mostly for the PSP section, as it covers many homebrew stories. Youtube - Who doesn't use Youtube? I use it a lot for watching video game reviews and the like, as well as AMVs. Google - I, like many others, use Google almost every day. It's a valuable asset, and the name has become synonymous with searching information on the internet. Not to mention they offer the best email service on the internet, Gmail.
