But nonetheless, it was amusing to see it at the time.

He ghosted you. You don't need to be an op to do it.

Basically, if he knows your login password, he can kick you off the channel. It's a function made to get rid of people who steal usernames from others.

Example -

Obviously that's not the exact phrasing, and Hazz doesn't type like that, but you get the point.
