Popular things that you HATE

Alright, so everyone knows the feeling: Everyone loves something, and you seem like the only person in the world who CAN'T STAND IT. Well, no more, folks! Release your inner frustrations with pride!

I, for one, cannot STAND rap. I hate it. No, no, I ABHOR it. Hiphop, rap, repetitive things without a tune....THEY MUST DIE. I feel nobody enjoys a good tune anymore! Does no one enjoy rock anymore? Honestly...

ANOTHER popular thing I hate: Desperate Housewives, Sex in the City... shows that are all about sex, sex, sex and pointless sexy drama. These shows have no real intelligent plot and don't portray women in a very good light, not unlike MOST things in today's media world.

I also hate shows like Inuyasha and Naruto. Who the hell decided that these shows were good enough to waste 3 seconds of your life over? First of all, they both have TERRIBLE voice acting, and no real plot at all. Not only that, but Inuyasha, Kagome, Shippo, and Naruto are four of the most annoying characters ever created, emphasis on Kagome.

And with that I conclude my rant. Spill your unpopular hatred here!

I absolutely despise the extremely popular SasukexNaruto pairing.

Srsly, if it was a person, I'd wring it's neck and exterminate it from this world.

Yaoi/Yuri for reasons I will not say as they may cause a heated discussion.

The entire gothic subculture. Just too dark and desturbing. Too much black.

I have others, but I really can't think of them right now.

I absolutely abhor rap. Seriously, why is it even considered to be "music", if it sounds nothing like music? I also hate the whole "gangsta" counterculture, emo rock, ipods, apple computers, diet coke, and lots of other popular crap that I can't really name off the top of my head right now.

To all the Rap/Hip Hop haters, tell me, why do you guys hate it so much? It seems like people nowadays HATE, I mean, ABSOLUTELY DESPISE hip hop, with a burning passion in the bottom of their souls. You people act like these rappers killed your families or something the way you hate hip hop. So tell me, why is that? And I don't mean to come off confrontational, I am actualy just curious

Hmm, I don't think there is anything popular that I really hate, maybe Bape hoodies, that's about it.

Well.... Hip-hop music has great beats. It is made repeditive so one would be able to easily rap off of it, as well as dance. Its that 4x4 beat that makes it hip-hop. Without that beat, its just.... pop with rap in it, which i DO hate!

I think it is going in a great direction now. The artists are growing mature, many songs collaborate with other genres (I heard one with a violin break, which was actually good), and it is getting much more upbeat that it's hard not to dance to it.

I do, however, dislike (not hate) the gangsta subculture. It causes people to act like their hard, when they're really punks. Plus everyone is bragging on themselves:

and I'm always with a h*e!"

I can't stand how horrible modern mainstream rap and hip hop is. people with no tallent talking about sex drugs and violence to a 4 over 4 beat, seriously, what the hell. how can you call that music. rock and jazz is real music. complex rythems, interesting notes, good, soulful lyrics.

I hate halo. I don't get what the big deal is. you run around and shoot some aliens. fun. NOT! everyone loves it and I can't seem to figure out why.

Rap. Mostly people with no talent just makin up some random beat and keeping it like this for 3-4 minutes. What ever happened to rock? No, no one listens to it anymore, except for the occasional "PunchMuch" here in Canada, which has random rock songs that no one would actually like, when suddenly, pop, after seeing it on MuchMusic, they like it! WHAT THE FPAGARTLE?!

And Naruto. That show MUST die. No need to explain why because most of you would figure out. Period.
And ZS0990, funny thing is that we hate the exact opposite. We have our own opinions, but that's just funny.

Fat people who complain about being fat. Seriously. It's your fault that you're fat. And believe me, this is VERY popular.

I love how the thread's supposed to be about hating things that most everyone likes, and yet everyone seems to want to put down the same thing. Seriously, move away from the mainstream agitation, people. No one wants to hear about how pointless you think rap music is. And if you insist on telling us about it, at least form your own opinion, first. =/

I cannot stand when people dip their cookies in their milk. You've got a cookie, and you've got milk. The two should not meet until they're in your mouth. Dipping a cookie in your milk completely ruins it. Why would anyone want crumby milk?

Hate them. Blights on the world of music. Kids need to listen to real music, not this generic "I'm so hard done by 'cause I have to do the dishes" bull****.

You're my kind of person. We ought to go out, although I don't trust "L'INTERNEEEEEET" well enough to do that. And would exceptions apperantly include DBZ? I looooooove DBZ!

Yeah, forgot completly about Family guy. Why? Because it stinks now! The first 2 or 3 seasons were good, and almost surpassed the Simpsons at that point. It was funny in a stupid way, but now that there are the new episodes from season 3 and so, it really started to being just...stupid. Peter wasn't funny anymore, Stewie's gay (literarly. I mean, wtf ever happened to killing Lois? And don't tell me about it's "new episode", because it won't be as classic), the "cutscenes" are just plain annyoing and extended with the same joke for about 4 minutes, I turn to watch me in the mirror after dunking my head in the toilet.
Another, I belive, is today's cartoons and pretty much anything else new that sucks. Batman, Spider-man, Tick, Goosbumps, Ghostbusters, Garfield, Animaniacs, Binky & The Brain, Gargoyles, Scooby-doo, to name a few, were pure pwnage in the 90s. Now? Well, look at the resemblance and you'll see. Notice anything? It was much better before. So WHY do more kids turn to watch "Bratz", "Viva Piniata" and all that other crud at 4kids? Older brothers and sisters, DO THE RIGHT THING! SHOW THEM A 30-SECOND CLIP OF AN OLD T.V. SHOW ON YOUTUBE! YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
Zelda has also went pretty weak. OoT was, no doubt, the BEST Zelda game ever, so now there are allll these fans that rabid their way towards WW and TP. Believe me, nothing, NOTHING, will ever replace OoT, not evenTP! Deal with it.
*sigh* I wish I was back in the 90s where they had N64, Fox Kids and burnt Pizza at McDonald's...
