I was wondering what most people use for their internet service. I have dial up on AOL (IT SUCKS). It takes forever to do stuff (well not forever) Sometimes it goes fast and other times it goes slow. My dad doesn't care about the internet because he has a fancy T-1 modem at his busness.
What do you have???

I have a 1.5 MB/s modem, along with a 11 MB/s WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network), which also acts as a firewall.

I have AOL 9.0 Dial-Up...and if you want to know the truth...I hate it. But hey, at least it's the internet...and I have AIM...

Yeah, I had AOL. It was really bad. My dad got really mad at it one day and bought a cable modem. Lucky me!

i have DSL and dail-up both annoy me at some point

i USED to have a 258KB/sec cable modem for more than a year...... then MY stupid computer refused to connec with it anymore....
now im stuck with a 28k modem....

I have Optimum Online as my internet (Cable), with my computer being wireless internet connected to a G router on a G wireless ethernet card *too confusing*

SBC SNET Yahoo all the way baby...actually...now it is just SBC...but...yah.....I have Yahoo DSL...boy..I don't miss AOL or Compuserve.....or Netscape for that matter.

I used to have a failing internet connection...but I installd a anew ethernet card so that problem is fixed.

I have some cable modem thing. At first we just had it in our living room so one computer was fast, than we put it on my brothers computer and mine. My computer is so slow though, I only use the internet, AIM and programs for typing reports so I'm in my room whe I do that suff. I play games on the faster computer.

I'm not using any big words, I just have plain old cable and it is workin just fine for me. I've only had his since like a year ago but it is better then my old system.

My dad has DSL through Earthlink on this computer, and soon I'll try to Network with his to get it on mine, too...

I have a 56kb/s dial-up connection.

i have DSL though most of my friends just have 56k

I got DSl though I used to have Dial-Up 28k.

i have dial up 56k, but id nearly kill for a T-1. god theyre so fast.

Muahaha, I have Road Runner cable connection, and it is very good and fast. I used to have dial up, and it was very bad.

I have a personal connection. Forgot if it was DSL or cable, but since it's not sharing the connection with any other users like most DSL does(example, a whole block), it runs much faster.

It's a satellite/dialup hybrid that uses the satellite for download, and the dialup for download. You have to dialup to use it, but it's a lot better than just normal satellite. Or so I hear.

I know for a fact that it's better than normal dialup. ^^'

Truth. Dialup upstream is especially better for FTP... Satellite's high latency makes it tiresome.

And so, of course, I have satellite upstream and downstream.. WITH a 169mb/4hr download cap... *twitch*
