How can you know that for sure? People just arent like that. Once again I hear the words 'true love' which obviously means complete loyalty and care for another person. I can honestly say that this sort of thing is incredibly rare. I dont know many people that would stand by someone, no matter what circumstance.

As for the poverty thing, its obvious. People with difficult lives have more difficult relationships because they are stressed and under strain.

this may sound shallow, but without money, life gets stressful and you find it harder and harder to love...
Exactly. For example, If your diet isnt good enough because of your lower income, it is going to be harder to connect emotionally with people, isnt it?

it's not like money enhances relationships.
By the look of it, it does, if you can afford a better quality life.

It is very rare, but still it exists.

I honestly believe there's no reason to argue about personal preferences, because, well, i think i'm right and you think you're right. I know i'm not in a debative mood, so if you wish, you'll just have to carry on without me. Tough, i know...

Well we can agree on this, at least. Somewhere, there probably is a true example of incredible loyalty.

In the end, I'd have to go with money. Love is merely something that's unnecessary to survive, money is actually necessary.

I'll go for money. Might as well have a fist full of green while doing what I do.

No, it's not. Look at animals, do they have money? no. Do they rely on their local grocery store for food? no. Do they survive? yes. (well, most of them do)

Essentially, we are talking about humans. Not animals.

Seems you've forgotten one little thing, Tim. Humans are animals. We can survive without money just as other animals can. Think of cavemen and indians. They hunt for food and they live off of it. I don't see any money being needed there.

If you didn't have money, you would've have that computer you're using to post this

Of course not. I'm merely stating that money isn't needed to stay alive like food is.

Why have a limited amount of happyness when you can have a lifetime of happyness?

I'm afraid humans aren't 100% animals, dear.

Re: Love or money?

I think money is actually quite necessary in today's world, especially depending on where you live. You could live without any money at all, oh, but you could, but it would be difficult and possibly rather unpleasant also without all the basic comforts we have in our day to day lives, like... getting a few square meals a day, having heating and clean water to drink, even your access to healthcare can be determined by money if you're living in, say, the USA where healthcare isn't free. You could choose to go without all that if you want and pick a perfect partner, but I'm not so hot on going without my mod cons. Anyways, regardless of that, all in all, I'd have to pick money over love. I'm doing quite fine on my own at the moment, and money really helps with paying the bills and stuff. Sure, love is nice and all, but thinking rationally, I have to go with the option that gives me more alternatives and choices. If I'm really stuck for love, I could just adopt a kid or buy a dog. Money helps with those too.

Yamari: Sweetheart, I believe you need something called money to be able to get yourself enough food. You could go hunting, fishing and cherry-picking, but you're going to have some lean winters and a couple of empty-bellied nights without it.

The human didn't completely originate from the ape, as many people believe. We recently learned that in our history class.
