Spiderman vs. Mario

Who would win in a fight? Mario's italian skills or spider-man's web-slinging?

Spider Man. Even though Mario has a bunch of stars and mushrooms and stuff, Spider Man has super powers. You can't beat super powers.

Spider-man! Spider man has all of his powers. Strength, webs, spider sense, wall climbing, etc. Mario can really only jump around and punch unless you count fire flowers or stars. Spider-man would win easily.

Depends on the state of Mario. If he has the FLUDD, the Fire Flower, the Raccoon thing, etc, I gotta say he'd win.

Also it depends on the spiderman your talking about. If your talking emo movie spider man, yeah right. If your talking the real spider man, then yeah I'd say we have a match here.

Outside of the Mushroom Kingdom, Mario has really no power whatsoever. He kills most of his enemies by jumping on their heads. Now, Mario is pretty cool, but Spiderman and pretty much any other superhero would beat him. Even his Super Smash Bro. version probably. Unless he had a fire flower and plenty of starmen, then we'd have a different story.

Screw the bias in this thread. Spiderman would win.

Yeah if you think about it, Mario is useless...

If Mario had a whole bunch of starmen, and used them one by one, he would OWN Spiderman. But if not, he'll get owned fast.

This is at least better than the Vader vs Link one. I mean, Peter and Mario are at least from the same world. Fire flowers would probably beat webbing, and webbing is mostly what Spidey has.

Mario has had a variety of skills, such as supersized, having a cape, and other things. It partly depends on what power he has at the time, but he could take Spidey with something other than starmen.

I'd say Spidey has the initial advantage.

Mario, He can throw fireballs, grow super sized, among other things, I'd say he wins hands down.

Spiderman.

Simple, really. Spiderman's initials are "S" and "M".
Mario's sole initial is "M".

I can only make a sex joke out of one of those sets of initals. Hence, Spiderman wins.

And with that, Shmehzzie wins the internet.

Spider-Man would win. Even if Mario had all his powerups, Spidey has way more speed and agility, with the strength to back that. Spider sense would allow him to avoid anything Mario could throw at him.

Also, Mario is a portly plumber, and Spider-Man is a lean-mean-superheroing machine. Is this even debatable?

Spiderman can easily dodge pretty much all of Mario's attacks, face it, Mario is fat, slow and fails at life.

Ok, not much discussion value is going into this thread (if people explained how their choice would win in a paragraph long story, then this thread would have survived a little longer), plus it seems that the majority agree that Spider-man would win.
