Say Hi to Mr. Nut-Nut!

On Friday the 9th, I finally got a replacement hamster! Its name is Chesnut, but I call it Nut-Nut for short. Here's pictures of Chesnut!

Uh... I guess that is good. My family had hamsters that lived twice as long as they should have. Ones eye actually fell out and was hanging by some string. They always escaped their cages and we always had to catch them.

Cute, take care of him well. My hampster was murdered a few weeks ago by one of my cats. I was leaving for karate class and I thought I checked all of my room, but when I got home one of my cats Donnie was in my room. After a few hours, I notice the hampster cage was broken, I looked around and noticed blood everywhere. I found her body, it was so sad, my room really looked like a murder scene. I said a prayer for her before I went to bed. She was the 3rd hampster I had in the past 3 years, I rethinking my future on small pets.

He is soo cute! Now I want a hamster too ^_^. Take good care of him.

I have fish, a whole lot easier to manage <_<

Anyway, nice going, having a new Hamster. Is that the cage your old one used to live in?

oh that hampster is nice,it looks like the one i had that died when i was 10. i have a cat now though, he`s a pedigree and a cornish rex.so he only has the undercoat of fur so his fur is short and wavy and doesn`t come out easily,ideal for me cause i had asthma for a few years at the time,about 6 years ago.

hey frodo, cool hamster. You know, speaking of hamsters, i used to have a hamster one time, back when i was 9. But, it liked to bite people, and so unfortunately, i could never hold it. Basically just watched it run around its wheel all day. But, something funny happened. My hamster had a knack for getting out of its cage. One night, my dad is out in the living room, and feels something bite his finger. Turns out it was the master, who had gotten out of its cage in my room. Well, that night, we cut small air holes in a piece of cardboard, and put it over the cage, then put heavy books on top of that. Well, sure enough, the next night, the hamster got loose once again. Baffled, i tried doing the same thing with the books and cardboard the next night. Now, it just so happened that this was during winter, and we had mouse traps set all around the house. Well, the next morning, i get up to check the traps, and i see the biggest mouse caught in the kitchen that i had ever seen! Turned out, though, that it wasnt a mouse, but rather the hamster. I havent had a small pet since.

That looks like my sister's hamster. She named it Snickers because it had carmel colored fur

I used to have a guennia pig with those colors...but...she died....I had 2 and their names were HeShe and SheHe.
